It's with deep sadness that I post this. But our girl of sixteen wonderful years, Sammie cat has died. Always the center of attention, she would beg and beg until you showed her some kind of affection. A shy a timid little cat, she would take on spells where she would just hide in my mom's closet for hours and not come out. She loved to lick your hand when you showed her attention. She would always want you to rub her belly. Although she was shy, she was very affectionate and always full of energy. Even in her old age. Every time I came home from being out or every time I came out of my bedroom, she would always be the first person she'd look for to grab my attention. She never liked to be held. But she enjoyed me staring at her for long periods of time. I'll never forget the day I first got her. She was one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen. She had a very unique look about her that just let people know she was cute and playful. And a squeaky voice she would use to talk with when she had something to say. Although sometimes that voice wouldn't come out when she tried. She truly was a one of a kind cat and they'll never be another one like her. Sammie cat, I'm really gonna miss you. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the sixteen years of your wonderful life. You will be sorely missed. 2009-2025

Some unfortunate news to report from French Fry Terrace. Elkinsinboxinc is in a time of mourning right now as our faithful cat of seventeen long years, Nike (yes, he was named after the brand of shoes) has sadly left this world and he is no longer with us. We loved him and gave him a good home. And I know he loves us and all the other cats he was around during his lifetime. I'm sad that he's no longer with us, but I'm glad he's no longer in pain. He helped father 11 children with Alleycat and Babycat. He enjoyed running around in circles chasing a laser pointer, he would always clean the lint off of your socks, and he would let you know when it was time to be fed. He was such a great cat to have a conversation with, and he would always be a good listener. He would always enjoy giving the other cats in our household a bath. He truly was one of a kind, and there may never be another one like him. While he may be gone from this Earth, he leaves behind sweet sweet memories that will stay with us for the rest of our lives. Rest In Peace, Nike the Cat. 2008-2025. We hope you enjoyed your time on Earth. You were always with us throught the good times and the bad, and you will be sorely missed.

Please be in prayer for the people of the tragic and senseless shooting that took place this morning at Annunciation Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Hearing that the event has evolved into a mass casualty event. Sad, senseless, and disgusting.
