As I continue to marvel at the purity of God’s snow, I am reminded that each day we have the ability to wake up refreshed and renewed through repentance. Division and harmony are issues that continue to plague mankind, but human wisdom is not God‘s ways, and Godly wisdom is beyond human ways. Christ is the beginning and the end of all wisdom. Arrogance, immorality, idols, the lack of and/or proper usage of spiritual gifts all result in a famine of sorts in the body of Christ. We must go back to 1 Corinthians 13 and train our hearts to love by the example set forth. We all fall short daily!

Remember: Charity is - silence when your words would hurt; patience when your neighbor is curt; deafness when a scandal flows; thoughtfulness for others woes; promptness when stern duty calls and courage when misfortune falls.

I challenge each of you today to start your day off on your knees. Ask the Lord to help you be a better Christian today and learn to love as He intended us to love; forgive and move forward focusing only on Kingdom work. Anything less is of the enemy. God bless us all!

When I see the purity of the snow, it reminds me that this is how God sees us when we have truly repented and accept Him as our Lord and Savior. However, when we allow our flesh to be in control or we invoke the name of God as a weapon or as a means to get something we want, then we are no longer white, but are more like that black sludge that snow becomes when man has had his way driving over it. God sees the motivation behind everything that you do. Ask yourself: Are my actions being used to edify His Kingdom or are they just a means to get what I want (fame, fortune, retaliation, fill-in-the-blank). Rest assured, He KNOWS the truth. Are you going to grieve His Holy Spirit with your man-made lies?? Focus hard on the Kingdom of God; on HIS desires: He wants a close relationship with you; for us to be His people and He will be our God. Woe to those who grieve His Spirit because God clearly states numerous times that vengeance is His and His alone. Repent while there is still time!

Happy New Year everyone! As Hockey and I get ready to celebrate our 19th anniversary of our engagement, I wanted to let you know that I am implementing a challenge from my pastor on Tithing Your Time. You see, we are suppose to tithe the first 10% of our finances back to the Lord so that He will bless the 90% remaining. I have seen this manifest over and over again in our finances. My Pastor has challenged us to a First Fruits Fast - dedicating the first tenth of each month to the Lord. For the 1st, 2nd and 3rd days of each month we are to dedicate those days to the Lord in some form or fashion. For me, I will be "fasting" from all social media platforms (emails, texts, YouTube, auctions, everything EXCEPT Christian Music or Bible Studies). The time I am usually on my devices will now be spent in prayer, reading my Bible, journaling my prayers and reading solid materials such as Bible Studies, etc. that are doctrinally sound. My goal is to place God at the front of my eyes to see and for my ears to hear rather than the click bait, chats that do nothing but destroy humanity. I said this months ago...who's kingdom are you working for??? So I challenge you to give it a try, what do you have to lose?? More importantly, IMAGINE what you have to gain! Have a blessed New Year everyone!

For those who may not believe or are too wrapped up in the daily distractions of life, please take a moment to pray and repent. Fulfillment of the Lord’s Word is happening right before our very eyes. Don’t be like the virgins who didn’t keep their lamp wicks trimmed and full of oil. Time is short. Nothing matters more than your salvation….NOTHING! May God touch your hearts today.
