Went to Primavera Sound on Saturday mainly for one reason: Damon Albarn.
I've followed his music for years, from Blur to Gorillaz, and he didn't disappoint. Incredible songs, incredible band and still pushing boundaries after all these years.
Not gonna lie... I'm probably getting too old for the festival chaos 😅
But seeing Damon live was worth every minute.
📸 Photo by my brother Sergi Sanz, who somehow managed to survive 5 hours in the front row!
Are you more into Blur or Gorillaz?

🎸 Marc Sanz Guitar live? Maybe sooner than you think...
I'm planning some Marc Sanz Guitar power trio shows — a bit more blues-rock oriented, but without leaving behind the indie rock spirit I love so much.
Of course these shows would be in Barcelona, Spain (come see me if circumstances and the guitar gods allow it 😄)
My question for you is:
🔥 What songs would YOU include in this setlist?
Some ideas so far:
• Scuttle Buttin’
• Seven Nation Army
• Last Nite (more bluesy probably)
• Crossroads
• Little Wing

Saw @ericclapton live on Sunday at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
81 years old… and still standing there with that tone, that phrasing and that impossible vibrato. No fireworks, no circus — just music played with taste, elegance and decades of truth behind every note.
The band was absolutely phenomenal, but the acoustic set was something else. That’s where Eric still shines like a true delta bluesman. Raw, understated and deeply musical.
Honestly, Clapton is probably one of the main reasons I picked up a guitar in the first place.
This Thursday on my channel, a little tribute to the master… with a very special guitar 👀🎸
(And yes… Patreon members might get a few extra surprises this week.)

Did you catch ROSÉ & Bruno Mars at the Grammys?
That main riff in APT. is seriously addictive 🎸
Here’s my take on it — curious what you think about the groove

It all started with this beauty and a dream.
Many years ago, I dreamed of becoming a guitarist — something that felt almost impossible in my home, in my environment. Somehow, I made it happen.
Two years ago, I dreamed of starting a YouTube channel. A very ambitious one, with two goals: to learn and to succeed. Today, I can honestly say I’m doing both.
It’s been a long journey, and sometimes a very hard one — but it’s absolutely worth it.
I just want to thank each and every one of you who subscribed and supports me on every video by liking, commenting, and sharing. It means the WORLD to me.
Let’s keep going. Much more to come! 🙌🎸

I can only say THANK YOU for being here — watching the tutorials, leaving comments, sharing, and being part of this growing community.
This is just the beginning! 🙌
I'm already working on more songs, solos, and more cool stuff I’m working on.
🔽 In the meantime, help me choose the next big tutorial:
Which versions would you like me to make more of?

I have no words to describe how happy I am. I started this channel with three goals:
1 Offering a quality channel where people could learn the guitar of songs that have always blown me away.
2 Improve my technique and have a commitment with myself to learn to play better every day.
3 Create a community that shares my passion for the guitar. Maybe one day I will be able to dedicate myself to this full time!
I think this is the first milestone to achieve my dream. Seen from the inside you can't imagine the personal physical and mental effort involved in setting up a channel like this, having as I do a full time job totally unrelated to music and a family. There are countless hours of hard work. In spite of everything I must confess that the effort is totally worth it.
I am very grateful to all of you who follow me, accompany me, learn the songs, and especially thank the couple of people who every week take a few minutes to comment on my videos. You don't know how that encourages me!
What do you think about the channel? What covers would you like to see in the future?
