Ceasefire ka matlab hota hai yudh ya ladaai ko rokne ka samjhauta — jisme dono taraf ke senayein ek tay ki gayi tareekh aur samay se apna hamla band kar deti hain. Ceasefire temporary bhi ho sakta hai ya permanent bhi, aur iska maksad hota hai violence ko rokna aur shanti banaye rakhna.

India aur Pakistan ke beech Ceasefire kyu hota hai?

India aur Pakistan ke beech kai baar ceasefire hua hai, khaaskar:

1. 1947, 1965, aur 1971 ke yudh ke baad:

Yudh ke baad United Nations (UN) ke madhyasthata se ya dono deshon ke beech samjhaute ke zariye ceasefire hua taaki aur khoon-kharaba na ho aur shanti banayi ja sake.

2. Line of Control (LoC) par firing band karne ke liye:

LoC par Pakistan ki taraf se baar-baar goli-baari hoti rahi hai, jisme jawan aur nagrik dono nuksaan uthate hain. Aise mein dono desh kai baar Ceasefire Agreement karte hain taaki goli-baari roki ja sake aur dono taraf ke logon ki zindagi surakshit ho.

3. 2003 ka Ceasefire Agreement:

Is agreement mein dono deshon ne decide kiya tha ki LoC par firing nahi hogi. Lekin iske baad bhi violation hote rahe.

4. February 2021 ka fresh Ceasefire Agreement:

India aur Pakistan ne Feb 2021 mein ek baar fir se decide kiya ki wo 2003 ke ceasefire agreement ko strictly follow karenge. Iska reason tha:
• Border par lagataar goli-baari aur civilians ki maut
• Peace process ko aage badhana
• COVID-19 ke time mein shanti banaye rakhna

• Civilians ki zindagi surakshit rehti hai.
• Military ko bhi break milta hai.
• Diplomacy aur samjhaute ka rasta khulta hai.
