Toy Story 2 Live Action Update! and Special Clip for the 26th Anniversary

It’s been a while since we shared a proper update on our Toy Story 2 Live-Action Fan Film, and we know so many of you have been wondering how the project is going. Me and Levi wanted to share where things stand right now, because the film is very much alive — and stronger than ever.

This year we fully completed Andy’s Room, which took longer than expected because both of us have jobs and careers alongside this project. Even with that, we’ve still been filming every single day after work, making time wherever we can, because this film truly means everything to us.

We’ve also been doing reshoots — not because anything was wrong, but because we want every scene to match the strongest quality we’ve achieved so far. As we improve in animation, lighting, cinematography, and prop work each year, it’s important that the whole film feels consistent. We want the final movie to meet the standard we’ve always imagined.

Me and Levi are genuinely grateful for everyone who’s been here, supporting this journey and believing in this dream film. A lot of people have been waiting nearly a decade, and we appreciate every single one of you for staying with us and being part of this long adventure. Your patience, encouragement, and excitement keep us moving.

We’re not giving an official release date until we’re 100% confident that filming is fully in motion, but as of now, we are aiming for a late 2026 release if everything continues on track.

Hey Guys! I wanted to share an important update about our project, “Toy Story 2 Live Action.” We’ve made a change to the release date to ensure that we deliver the best possible experience for you all.

Since 2014, this film has been a labor of love, and I’m incredibly grateful for your unwavering support. We’re still in the process of some filming and post-production. Our new target for the release is by the end of this year.
