3 DAYS IN…
3 days.
That’s all it took for things to start clicking.
Daniel and Anthony came in with the same concern every beginner has:

TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY ⚔️
Not an artificial repair.
Not artificial stability.
Not a repair that will simply “fly.”
This was a true repair.
True restoration.
True stability brought back to the panel.
We spent the day battling a deep dent on an aluminum hood body line with limited access. It wasn’t easy. Aluminum doesn’t give you much grace, and body lines demand precision. It was a fight.
But today, Tyler won that battle.
There will be many more battles ahead in the war of becoming a great technician. That’s the nature of this craft. But today was a pivotal moment… a real breakthrough. The kind of milestone every technician remembers.
Proud of the work. Proud of the discipline. Proud of the progress.

Body positioning, perspective, and light control matter more than force.

This one came in hot.
A last-minute aluminum dent on a black Volvo XC90 hood — customer already on the way, rental due back before lunch. Tight front-edge access, minimal leverage, and aluminum that wasn’t going to cooperate unless handled correctly.
The fix came down to fundamentals:
• Proper heat management
• Intentional light placement
• Thin tool selection for tight access
• Relieving crown pressure before pushing
• Creating slack by slightly lifting the hood edge
• Letting the metal move instead of forcing it
This is a real-world example of why aluminum repairs require patience, pressure control, and experience — not speed and strength.
No repaint. Clean result. Deadline met.
