PDR beginners…
There are going to be more difficult days than easy wins in the beginning. But that’s also what makes the wins feel so good when they finally come.
You have to bring tenacity, determination, will, drive, perseverance, and a never quit mentality.
Make up your mind early that when the tough days come — and they will — you are not backing down.
Because the truth is, if learning PDR is something you are truly determined to do, you don’t really have a choice. You have to decide that you’re willing to go through what it takes.
Otherwise, this craft will burn through the one resource you can never get back…
Time.
Yes, becoming great takes time. But time alone is not enough. It takes time paired with intentional repetition.
How you use that time will make the difference between frustration and progress… between quitting and building something that could become a successful legacy.
The hard days may win a few battles.
But if you keep showing up, keep learning, keep making adjustments, and keep putting in the reps…
You’ll get the checkmark in the win column of the war.

3 DAYS IN…
3 days.
That’s all it took for things to start clicking.
Daniel and Anthony came in with the same concern every beginner has:
“Am I even going to be able to find my tip?”

TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY ⚔️
Not an artificial repair.
Not artificial stability.
Not a repair that will simply “fly.”
This was a true repair.
True restoration.
True stability brought back to the panel.
We spent the day battling a deep dent on an aluminum hood body line with limited access. It wasn’t easy. Aluminum doesn’t give you much grace, and body lines demand precision. It was a fight.
But today, Tyler won that battle.
There will be many more battles ahead in the war of becoming a great technician. That’s the nature of this craft. But today was a pivotal moment… a real breakthrough. The kind of milestone every technician remembers.
Proud of the work. Proud of the discipline. Proud of the progress.

Online or in person.
If someone is offering to train you for pennies on the dollar, understand what that likely means.
This is a skilled trade.

Upper brace access is one of the early hurdles for new PDR techs.
Body positioning, perspective, and light control matter more than force.
Emilie locked in her chin-to-panel perspective and worked the upper brace with patience and intention — and the results showed.
When you understand access, you stop guessing and start controlling the repair.
