Home buyers and investors ask me ALL THE TIME, is now a good time to buy? Should I wait for interest rates to come down? Should I wait until I have more downpayment?
Believe it or not, there actually is a straightforward for just about all parties, all situations.
But, I'll tell that those who are waiting for interest rates to come down maybe waiting several years or decades, missing out on valuable equity gain, in the meantime. And if interest rates EVER DO come down, there will be a flood or buyers to the market who have been waiting, driving prices up (anyone remember 2021 housing market?!)
So, the right time is when you find a property that meets what you're looking for and works in your budget at that time. That is the straightforward answer that applies to just about all people and all scenarios.
