I created a new channel where I intend to focus on computer-related topics in order to have a bit of consistency. I'll at least try it out. This channel here has been rather random. It will remain, but if I keep the new channel up, merely off-topic content would be posted here, I think.

I named the new channel Medianway for now, might cause me to rename some of my other accounts across the web.

Have the idea of making a Marbles of Darkness 2 modification that has the levels of MoD 1 remade. It would play out like the original game, but brings all the improvements of the sequel with it. It would be just a simple MoD 2 mod. Code was not changed at all, only files editable by any player have been changed. I also wonder that when I finish it (there's not very much to do), where should I distribute it, if I do? MoD 1 download page? And btw Marbles of Darkness 1 is pretty much abandoned. With the last update being in September 2022, it has issues, there is a lot to improve in the game and I don't plan on doing it. I'm more focused on other stuff and the environment brought by the sequel.

This week saw a milestone release in two widely used Linux distributions, Ubuntu and Fedora.
Ubuntu 24.04, codenamed Noble Numbat, is a long-term support release, which means that, despite a new edition of Ubuntu being released twice a year, it has guaranteed support for multiple years. Ubuntu also turns 20 years old this year.
Fedora got its 40th edition, which is a nice round number. While there aren't many changes, it provides the latest version of graphical interfaces and core tools.
I might cover them in a video sometime, but as I have to sort out stuff regarding tech content, I'm not sure when I'll do it.

About my username change, perhaps I simply no longer wanted to mainly use my older name ("Eerik Active" ?). Tried to come up with some username ideas mainly on the theme of neutrality and the middle way, the middle between two extreme choices. I think that would kinda describe me, might come from me being rather shy in real life. The name "Eutra" comes from the middle characters of "neutral".

My content here has been pretty inconsistent, so as I have mentioned once before I have plans of focusing more on tech, which would mean me creating a new channel about computers. I don't know yet when, a possibility is at the end of spring, after I have turned 18. Then I might change my username again. Maybe something about the middle way again, maybe something related to engineering.

yes i'm still a little unsure about what to put as username, maybe I'm overthinking it...

About Linux, the most known edition of it, Ubuntu, might not have the best reputation anymore, but it does look noice in my opinion.
I mentioned in the video I might try Linux Mint with Ubuntu desktop (just a little older than the one pictured). So far the only bigger issue I've run into is that it is such a struggle to get any Windows software running.
