Happy Family Day!
Here in Ontario, the kids are off school and we get a long weekend. I've been working on the ice hotel video, which will be out tomorrow evening - Tuesday Feb 17th at 6:30pm.

I am really excited to share the next video coming up. This was our first visit to Quebec City during Carnival (The largest outdoor winter festival in North America!!) I can remember learning about Bonhomme in french class wayyyyy back in public school. Liam is now learning about him and this yearly festival, so it was the perfect time to come out and meet him. He told me to tag him on Instagram, so I did! lol.
Carnival had one of the most enthusiastic, high energy parades I think I've ever seen. I enjoyed our visit and would do it again. Have you been?
This video should be out Sat. Feb 14 at 11:30am, just in time for Valentines day. 💝 I'll be working on it today.

Next up! Winterlude 2026. Should be out at 7:30pm ET on Thursday Feb 12th.
We had visited before, but not explored past the Ice sculptures, so we found all the fun spots this time. The best part of Winterlude is that it's FREE! (well, outside of the hotel if you have to come from far away)
If you get the chance to skate the Rideau Canal you should give it a try.
It was extremely cold outside, so my question is....
Who are my winter people??? Do you love winter weather, or is it time for the hot sun?
I definitely spent a good deal of time in the sauna at one point. lol.

We had an incredible stay at the Chateau Laurier this weekend, and I'm finally back and have it put together to share. Honestly one of the most magnificent hotels I've ever treated myself to. Right in the heart of Ottawa, this castle stands next to Parliament Hill. See you tomorrow (Tuesday Feb 10) at 7:30 ET!
