It all started in the Boreal Forest of Northern Alberta Canada in May of 1990. Melody McArthur was born to be a powerhouse vocalist and passionate performer. Her seventh album, The Gospel Truth, releases in late 2026. McArthur composed, Executive Produced, and wrote for The Gospel Truth album in 2025 while on tour across North America with Bear Grease, the first ever all-Indigenous cast musical to feature on Broadway New York's Playbill.

McArthur’s work has garnered national and international recognition, including honours from Edify Magazine’s Top 40 Under 40 and a 2025 Horizon Alumni Award from the her former Alma Mater the University of Alberta. McArthur most recently starred in the first professional production world premiere of Tomson Highway's “Rose” at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Ontario March 25 - April 4, 2026.
