You see this is why most s35vn SUCKS except from a couple companies and even the ones that do it well it leaves a lot to be desired. 58-62hrc that is such a large tolerance range whoever is doing the heat treat on that knife is doing a terrible job if they're having a 4-point hardness range over a batch and that's what they're actually disclosing so it's going to be more than that I wouldn't be at all surprised if a fair portion of a batch of these aren't in the 55-56 range post pvd. Plus it's PVD coated so you can bet your ass it's going to be 58 or less, ide be willing to bet that easily 80% of them are at or below 58 after PVD. Completely totally unacceptable!
