The Sisters of Divine Providence in Melbourne, Kentucky, are a Catholic community of vowed women religious. We live in accordance with our charism of simplicity, poverty, charity, and abandonment to Divine Providence. No matter where and how we minister, we have a mission to be living witnesses to the Providence of God. God's love becomes real in us as we go out to be Providence to others through the works of mercy.

Holy Week begins with one of the most honest moments in Scripture:
From the cross, Jesus cries out, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”—a line that echoes Psalm 22, a raw, unfiltered prayer of lament.
Lament isn’t easy. We often skip the hard feelings, rush to solutions, or hide our doubts. But Holy Week reminds us: bringing our whole selves to God—grief, questions, and all—can deepen trust and faith.
This Palm Sunday reflection is an invitation to pause, reflect, and be honest with God.
Where are you entering Holy Week this year—lament, hope, or somewhere in between?

So much of what we see every day is about appearances—images, impressions, and assumptions about other people’s lives.
But Scripture reminds us of something deeper: people see the appearance, but God looks into the heart.
In this reflection, we explore how easy it is to get caught up in appearances and how God invites us to look deeper—into our own hearts and the hearts of others.
🎧 Listen to the reflection and let me know -- what helps you move beyond appearances and stay connected to what’s really in your heart?

Have you ever wondered if God is really present when everything feels quiet?
In our newest episode, From Complaining to Contemplation: Finding Living Water When Faith Feels Dry, we reflect on spiritual dryness, the story of the woman at the well, and how hope can still emerge in the wilderness.
Sometimes the thirst we feel isn’t a sign that God is absent — it’s an invitation to go deeper.
🎧 Take a few minutes to listen.
You might discover that God is closer than you think.

Quick question:
Have you ever felt called to something… and immediately wanted to stay comfortable instead?
👍 Yes
❤️ Still there right now
🙏 I’m discerning something new

God told Abram: “Go forth.”
Simple words. Not always an easy call.
On this 2nd Sunday of Lent, we reflect on what it means to leave what’s familiar and trust God in the unknown. Growth rarely begins in comfort — but we never walk alone.
If you’re navigating change, discernment, or a new chapter, this episode is for you.

What are you truly hungry for this Lent?
In this week’s episode of the Providence Podcast, Three of us sisters sat down to reflect on the Gospel of Jesus in the desert — on temptation, power, fasting, and the kind of spiritual hunger that doesn’t go away just because we ignore it.
One of the questions that stayed with me is this:
Are we hungry for control… or for communion?
This isn’t a quick soundbite conversation. It’s a slow, honest, faith-sharing reflection — the kind that unfolds gently and invites you to listen for your own word or invitation from God.
If you’ve only seen the short clips, I hope you’ll take time for the full episode. The deeper sharing happens there.

Have you ever felt stuck between two good options — afraid you might choose wrong?
This week’s reflection is for anyone who overthinks, freezes, or rushes just to escape the discomfort of deciding.
Here’s the good news:
Most decisions aren’t irreversible.
No choice is beyond God’s redemption.
And God walks with you through every step.
If you’re carrying something heavy right now, I hope this offers peace.

Jesus says, “You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world.”
Beautiful words — and sometimes hard ones.
What if shining doesn’t come easily? What if the world places a basket over some people’s light? This week’s episode reflects on salt and light not as individual achievement, but as a communal responsibility — to see one another’s dignity and make room for everyone to shine.

There’s plenty of room on the lampstand for you. And me. And all of us.

What does Christian unity really mean when we don’t think, feel, or vote the same way?
In this reflection, I explore Paul’s call to unity — not as agreement or uniformity, but as a shared belonging in Christ. It’s an honest look at disagreement, moral courage, and the hard, holy work of loving one another in a divided Church. I know these are tender topics, but I believe they’re worth praying with together.

What if serving God isn’t the whole story—not because it’s wrong, but because God desires something deeper? This reflection on Ordinary Time explores Isaiah’s surprising words and asks what it means to move beyond obligation into relationship, partnership, and light.
