The Bernina Pass (2,330m) is pure alpine flow. You start the climb grinding through pristine Swiss pine forests with a front-row view of the massive Morteratsch Glacier, and finish by dropping straight toward the sun-drenched border of Italy.
A weekend in the Engadin valley hits different. 🇨🇭✨ We set up base camp in St. Moritz and spent three unforgettable days hunting some of the most beautiful alpine roads in the world. Thin air, endless switchbacks, massive glaciers, and deep turquoise lakes around every single corner.
Top it all off with some cold lakeside recovery beers while tracking the Tour de France, and honestly, it doesn’t get any better than this.

This is what road cycling dreams are made of. 🏔️✨ Furka Pass completely lives up to the hype. Climbing up to 2,436 meters, tackling the legendary switchbacks from Andermatt, and passing the iconic Hotel Belvedere—every single kilometer feels like a movie scene.
The thin air hits hard on the way up, but flying down that perfect alpine tarmac makes every ounce of suffering worth it. 🚴♂️💨
2:00 AM alarm. 200 kilometers. 4,500 meters of elevation. 4 iconic passes. ⏱️🏔️
Chasing Cancellara (Zürich to Andermatt) is officially in the books, and wow—what an unforgettable day in the saddle at this legendary Swiss event.
Rolling out of Zürich in the pitch black at 2:00 AM brings an entirely different atmosphere to the peloton.
Conquering this brutal but beautiful point-to-point route meant surviving 4 major mountain passes and one sting-in-the-tail finale:
⛰️ Albispass – The early morning wake-up call. ⛰️ Ratenpass – Spinning up as the world wakes up. ⛰️ Sattelegg – Where the climbing rhythm really settles in. ⛰️ Klausenpass (1,952 m) – The big mountain beast of the day. 🚴♂️ Schöllenenschlucht – The final, dramatic gorge climb up to Andermatt.
Crossing the finish line in Andermatt together made every single painful watt worth it. 👑
Huge thanks to @chasingcancellara for putting on an absolute masterclass of an event.
Is 3 weeks in Mallorca the ultimate cycling block? ✈️🏝️
3 weeks, 3 different bases, and 36 hours in the saddle. We just wrapped up our training block in cycling paradise, and honestly, splitting the trip into three distinct bases was the absolute best decision we made to see the whole island.
Here is how we broke it down: 📍 Base 1: Port de Sóller – Deep in the Tramuntana range for those brutal, beautiful coastal mountain climbs.
📍 Base 2: Playa de Muro – Rolling roads, fast group rides, and lining up for the legendary Mallorca 312 madness.
📍 Base 3: Sineu – Exploring the historic heart of the island, quiet country lanes, and hidden corners.
Our fully conquered list from this block: ⛰️ Sa Calobra ⛰️ Puig Major ⛰️ Cap de Formentor ⛰️ Coll de Sóller ⛰️ Coll de sa Batalla & Coll de Femenia ⛰️ Coll d’Honor ⛰️ Puig de Randa & Puig de Sant Salvador ⛰️ Puig Bonany ⛰️ The iconic MA-10 coast road
Every single one of those vertical meters was fueled by a serious amount of pizza, pasta, and flat whites required to keep those carbs high. 🍝☕️

Trading heavy pass traffic for empty mountain lanes. 🏔️🇨🇭 If you want to climb right to the foot of the dramatic Säntis massif (2,502m) without dealing with cars, the “Alte Schwägalpstrasse” is the ultimate Swiss detour. It bypasses the main road entirely, taking you up to the 1,300m summit on narrow, quiet alpine paths.
24 switchbacks. 90,000 granite stones. One absolute alpine monument. 🏔️🇨🇭 The Val Tremola isn’t just a climb; it’s a living piece of cycling history. Rising up the south face of the Gotthard Pass, this road completely alters your perspective on what an alpine pass can be. There is a pure, hypnotic rhythm to riding these hand-laid cobblestones. The way the sound changes as you hit the historic granite sectors, the sheer scale of the stone walls, and that crisp alpine air waiting for you at 2,106 meters.
Forget the famous, crowded alpine passes for a moment. If you look closely enough, Switzerland is full of hidden valleys that feel like a scene straight out of a fairytale.
Riding up to Göscheneralp from Andermatt is pure magic. The route takes you over crystal-clear rivers, through deep pine forests, and under towering granite walls before opening up to the spectacular glacial reservoir at 1,715 meters. It is the ultimate scenic detour. 🌲🌊

Grinding up the highest paved mountain pass located entirely within Switzerland is a true test with its steady 9% gradient, but the panoramic views across the Bernese Alps make you forget the burn instantly. To make it even more unforgettable, we shared the road with a herd of local Alpine ibex right by the roadside! 🐐✨
