The shows in Europe with @NationofLanguage will come quickly after this week of recording. It was a good time in the US, thank you to anyone who came and spoke with me after a concert.
For those of you who can’t make it in person, we’ll be doing a Bandcamp listening event on Monday, Nov. 3rd at 1pm est, where I’ll be in the chat answering any questions you may have. Will.
The record will come out soon, I believe that Spring will precede it by a few days. I’ve written about the song on Substack today, go read if you’re curious to learn more.
We flew into Seattle yesterday to pick up a car the size of a boat and drive it up through the pines and eddies of north Washington State and into Canada, to start this short run with @NationofLanguage today.
I’ve been writing some longer form pieces on substack for a little while now, it was an idea from Connie and I’m grateful for it. As much as anything, it’s a space to sit down and remember things. Try and make them make sense. This week I wrote about Robert Wyatt and Coleridge and how they helped me and gave me grounds to write a song which will come out soon. I’m going to keep writing on there, if you were looking for something to focus the mind on for a few minutes and to escape the endless mindless roll of it all. Sending love out to you wherever you are. Will.
