My name is Joe Norman. I am 61 years old. My mother said I was singing melodies even before I could talk.
Singing is my passion. I also studied classical piano seriously from age 12-18 and then from 2000 to 2002. My two main instruments in college were piano and voice. I am a first tenor with a wide range. I love to sing many different styles of songs.

I absolutely adore this duet from Mozart's The Magic Flute! I especially love both the skill and emotional singing from these two singers. I love seeing them having great fun singing it together and how perfectly they stay in sync. Also, you should notice how relaxed their throats are... granted, it's much easier to see in the guy's throat. It takes years to learn how to sing like this, but you also need lots of natural talent.

Although my surgery to insert two implants for the Inspire sleep system went well, I am struggling with my recovery. My throat is very sore, like I have strep throat. I have an incision on the right side of my neck under my chin and jaw. It's very bruised right now. My other incision is on the upper right side of my chest, which is also tender and bruised. But I was able to take a shower today. The shower felt good. I think I am going to be able to do my Bible Study on Wednesday night, but my neck incision is not going to be nice to see. I am starting to feel better, but it will take time. Please keep me in your prayers.
