Now for a short talk.
As you may have noticed, Youtube doesn't wanna play with me anymore - after Elon took over Twitter Youtube went nuts and censored 40% of the content on this platform, including me... And I sorta kinda wrote them a mail and now they sorta kinda don't promote my videos to new people, barely notify my old subscribers, fun.
But that's not the reason for my inactivity π Like - what does it matter if I make videos for 5 or 5 000 people who enjoy it the same - just a number. And I'm thankful for you, I always take a moment to mention that π
The issue is our current center-European situation, uhm. Now that the prices for basic survival are basically 50% higher than they were, lil dummy me didn't expect the electricity bill to be THAT high. And videos take tons of energy, both quite literally and my own energy. Needless to say I have some stuff to work out, and maybe I will in the future, but I'm sure by that time people will grow apathetic to my channel, and if there's something I know is that once apathy kicks in, there's no going back. So a regular uploading schedule is out of the picture now, not like I don't enjoy making videos, but life isn't always fair.
And here's the thing, here's the big question π It always touched me when some of you guys reached out to me and asked about my wellbeing whenever I wasn't active, it's insane to realize that we grew on some kind of bond even tho I'm just a small voiceless shitposting channel...
SO - I was thinking - since a lot of you asked me for an Instagram - should I make one? Not to show off my art or anything, cuz, you know, """"""""""art""""""", but to simply have somewhere you can contact me privately from, since Youtube comments are public and so it's not always appropriate to discuss just anything and also Youtube deletes them 24/7, as we all know.
Uhm, I think it would be a nice to do as a New Year thing π New Year, new me. I suppose I would post some """""""""""art""""""" from time to time, just so Insta won't delete the account for spam or some bs like that. Call me a boomer that doesn't know how social media exactly works, but after my expereinces with Youtube I've grown to be quite sceptical, believe or not π
If you'd like to follow me for the """"""""""art""""""" - I either practice stylized realism or draw complete bs that even a 5 year old child could have drawn better, a bit of a chaotic energy. In every way I'm a nerd, so there would be mostly fictional characters fanarts, fictional husbandos fanarts, shirtless Joker.
Lot's of shirtless Joker. So much of shirtless Joker you're probably not ready for it. You think you're ready, but you're probably not. But don't let that discourage you. Embrace the chaos.

(For new people - us, who made our accounts long time ago, aren't officially registered as 18+ under the new guidelines, so we can't watch these videos UNLESS we gracefully hand our ID card photos to Youtube, which is just, hello Big Brother, have fun reading this community post too. There used to be a way around this, but these "cheats" don't work anymore. The feeling when you don't have the right to watch your own videos. :))
Also - about the Arkham parodies - I won't do them. It would be extremely distasteful after Kevin Conroy's recent death. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

And I know it doesn't mean much to you guys up there in West, but countries that were economically dependent on Russia are fucked now. To the point I had to cut hours I spend on computer, among other things. What time and money I have left I use for college, which is really pathetic, because what I'm going through now is still weak tea, the real shit is yet to come I imagine. O.o
In short, I'm dissapointed in myself as much as you are in me.
I had a lot of bigger projects like video essays and commentaries and the sisyphosian "comic book batjokes" prepared, but I deleted them, because my opinions change every other week and I hated the sound of my own voice and it's not entertaining and I don't know how to edit these videos to be visually appealing and stuff. Uh. I guess I just need some more motivation to practice... Not only because, well, I'm not Batman obsessed 24/7, and when I don't have Batman on my mind I don't get any video ideas either :D But also because of what's been happening on Youtube lately -
- How comments get constantly deleted EVEN WHEN I MANUALLY GO OUT OF MY WAY TO ALLOW EACH ONE OF THEM. Youtube hides them away from me AND when I DO find them and ALLOW THEM, they get deleted later anyway. I hate this. I want everyone to speak their mind on my channel, even when I disagree with the opinion, that's why I made this channel in the first place, I want raw Batman debates. π If you want censorship, go to Youtube Kids, this is ridiculous. It wasn't always like this.
- How Youtube barely lets me upload content lately, I'm seriously getting tired of fighting copyright strikes already. I wanted to show you guys some really cool stuff, but uh oh, bad decision Zaly, that's some juicy copyright. :) Videos take days to make, and putting effort into something that I can't post in the end is kinda, idk, kinda tiring.
- How I get adds on my videos that are literally 2 SECONDS long ("Joker kisses Batman" squad rise up π«) Adds should pay us for robbing us of our time really, because, if you didn't know, I didn't put them there - I make 0 money off of Youtube - they are put there automatically because I'm using copyright content in my videos (bullshit because I have videos that Youtube can't find any copyright material in and they still got an add). Just now I've rewatched the "Batman and Joker being lovers - love story" and EXCUSE ME, it has 5 ADDS? 5 adds just to watch a garbage video, ffs, why do people subscribe to me I have no idea. I'm ashamed. Of Youtube. And myself too.

If Youtube dearest shows me kindness, my next video series is gonna be Batman 60's out of context-style as promised, because that show was literally made for that π A lot of you guys liked type of content I've noticed, and I wanna give you what you like.

It will be a multi-videos project, since, he's just that awesome. (I'll also be releasing some side-projects too, so don't be afraid of a lack of variety.) Hope Youtube will allow it - I am forced to rework A LOT of video concepts already, thanks Youtube XD Also, I know I promised a bit of batjokes, well, no, that was a lie. I've rewatched the series and realized there's actually TONS of batjokes. (β§α΄β§βΏ) Far more than in TAS or any other series that I know of. Like, I don't even have to focus on finding batjokes, batjokes just kinda happens naturally on its own XD. Hope this made you at least a bit happy and excited for what's to come!
As a promo, here, have Joker destroying Bruce's masterpiece in the name of art. As an art college drop-out myself, I've never related to a Batman scene more than this. And you guys are insane, in the best way possible π I didn't make this channel in order to get views or subscribers, I just wanted to create a discussion in the community. Like a modern batjokes Socrates π That's why I respond to and I appreciate every single comment of yours! But of course, I'm genuinely happy a lot of you find my videos entertaining to the point of crossing over such a huge number β€ And I'm heartwarmed by the fact that SO MANY of you always stick around - even through my big gaps of inactivity. I too wish I could be more active, but my hectic life doesn't allow me to be π
