I appreciate all of your comments, likes & subs on my videos. Whichever ones you enjoy, I hope they bring enjoyment & learning to you.

All of my birds, present or past (except budgies), were handraised. I spent a lot of time training them, bites & all. I also learned a lot from trial and error, so not all what you see in the past videos is currently being used in now.

Please do your research if you are thinking of owning a parrot. Birds require a lot of patience, time, work, and can be costly & heartbreaking if they are injured/iill.

It is with deep sadness I share that my little PaiMei (pronounced “Pie May”) passed away on December 26, 2025 early in the morning in his sleep. He was 12 years old

He had been struggling with osteoarthritis as his main chronic condition for awhile, but was generally happy, playful, and had a big appetite. We had been getting monthly checkups all year at the Internal Medicine vet.

He was not well after his cough worsened over Christmas Eve. I was planning to bring him to the ER, but I wanted him to enjoy Christmas with family. When we got home late at night, I put him into his oxygen chamber, and he fell asleep there until I checked on him a few hours later.

Thank you to everyone who has been his friend and had helped me and him grow. I would not have been able to give him the best life without you.

Please keep PaiMei’s spirit in your heart, and wish him happiness for eternity. He has no more pain, and is running like like the wind with his friends and family at the rainbow bridge 🤍🌈 ✨
