If you watched my last Short, you probably caught a glimpse of my personal library stamp—but it was hard to see (I got you!).

This one’s extra special to me because the seal combines my husband’s last name and mine—marking this book as officially ours, along with all our other books in our personal library.

Currently stamping, Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez, into the collection. A cozy romance with just the right touch of humor and heart—have you read it?

I’ve been really feeling this book lately, I like the connection forming between Metice and Rayna (realized I was spelling her name wrong 🥴). They’re low keep mean to each other but it works cause they don’t have feelings for each other yet. I do think Rayna feels a little jealous though, cause an old fling has come into the picture, I’m really curious what’s going to happen 50% into this book!

I’ve been diving into these two fascinating books lately, and what a journey it's been! I recently talked about "The Rage of Dragons" in my latest vlog, but I've also been deeply engrossed in another book that I'm finally ready to discuss. "I Accidentally Summoned a Demon Boyfriend" has been quite the adventure, and I'm only 26% through! From the very beginning (like, seriously, the first 5%!), things escalate quickly, especially regarding the spice level. While I was surprised by how quickly the intimate scenes developed, it actually fits naturally within the story's flow. After all, Reyna was dealing with the loneliness of being abandoned by her friends, and Metice specifically sought her out - he came to HER home 🤭.

At this point in the story, Metice has taken Reyna to his home for protection since she keeps getting attacked. What's intriguing (and slightly concerning) is how no one else seems to notice these attacks. I'm wondering if time freezes during these moments, which would explain why she's so isolated in these dangerous situations. On a brighter note, I'm absolutely loving the atmosphere of Metice's home (which inspired my collage) - it has this perfect balance of moody yet sophisticated vibes. While I'm excited to see where the story goes, I'm also a bit anxious since I'm not even halfway through and there's already so much tension!

My one minor critique would be Reyna's character 🫢. While I understand her fear - I mean, Metice is literally a demon - her reactions to him can be a bit overdramatic at times. Given their intimate history together 🤭, she could definitely tone down the intensity of her responses a bit!

The Rage of Dragons is captivating me with its intense training sequences and character development. I particularly admire how Tau's determination shines through in every scene. His unwavering focus on becoming the greatest fighter among the Omehi isn't just empty boasting - you can feel the raw dedication in his actions and choices. The way the author brings the training sessions and fight scenes to life is masterful, making you feel every hit, every strategic move. The relationship between Tau and the Lor adds another fascinating layer to the story, showing how even in this brutal world, mentorship and recognition of potential still matter.

What really sets this apart from other fantasy novels is how the combat training isn't just about physical prowess - it's deeply intertwined with Tau's personal growth and the larger political landscape of the Omehi people. That quote about his enemies dreaming of him? It's not just bravado - it's a promise that sends chills down your spine because you're starting to believe he might actually achieve it! 🔥

Today is the day that Kindle will be removing the feature of us being able to download our books. One thing I saw people discussing is, where are we going to buy our books from now? I bought a few books from kobo, but that’s pretty much it.

I’ve been trying to post about this damn kindle download revision that’s happening 2/26, but I don’t think I’ll edit it, in time. Anywho, please download all your books. I realized 2 books were quietly taken off of my account, without any notice.
