I have officially unlisted the “PvE is better than PvP” video due to the overwhelmingly toxic reception it continues to generate. I paused comments on that video weeks ago, yet the harassment has now spilled into completely unrelated videos.
That stops here.
I will not accept that behavior, and I will not allow it on my channel. This isn’t criticism—it’s targeted, repeated hostility, and that is not okay.
I have acknowledged multiple times that the original video could have been better. I’ve openly talked about how my views have evolved, and I even revisited the topic in my “Thoughts on 1.0 So Far” video. That still isn’t enough for a certain portion of the PvP-focused audience. For them, the only acceptable outcome seems to be continuing to belittle and badger me until I either break or publicly parrot the idea that “PvP is amazing actually.”
I’m not doing that.
PvP is not enjoyable for me, and clearly not for many others either—Steam numbers barely moved, and players overwhelmingly migrated to PvE. That’s not “copium,” that’s reality. The thought was when the game hits steam more new players would be injected into pvp. They got stomped out in mere weeks and are gone or enjoy pve
Because of the continued harassment and the refusal of this subset of the community to let the topic die—even after I clearly tried to move on—I am ending the PvP series entirely. The content will be PvE-only going forward.
This decision is final. Maybe. MAYBE in a few months when everyone is gone doing other things ill jump back in. Thats a huge maybe
I no longer want to associate with the PvP side of this community beyond what is absolutely unavoidable. The behavior I’ve seen is unhealthy, obsessive, and frankly gross. I make content because I enjoy it—not to be dogpiled for having a different experience or preference.
I’m done engaging with this. I’m done explaining myself. And I’m done compromising my enjoyment or mental health for people who clearly don’t care.
Thanks to all who have voted on the last poll, your kind words showed me that there is in fact a interest in a PvE version of the series. I'm grateful for you all.
Finally, because of this expect content from Arc raiders at some point in the near future.
Hey everyone I wanted to put some feelers out and get your thoughts on something.
I’m not making any decisions yet, but I’ve been thinking about possibly shifting the EFT “Journey to Escape from Tarkov for Real” series over to the PvE servers. Before I seriously consider it, I want to know how you’d feel about that. Would this be something you’d enjoy watching?
Here’s where I’m coming from: The PvP side of the game has been rough on my mental health. I’m already way behind the curve, locked out of meaningful progression, and getting one-tapped by level 50, 3,000-hour players camping pocket watch isn’t exactly peak entertainment. It’s slowing down content to the point where the series risks stalling out entirely.
There’s also the time factor. Progress is painfully slow right now — it’s been about a month and I still don’t have a single story chapter close to finished. Being this far behind means I don’t even have ammo that lets me participate in fights meaningfully, and honestly? It just doesn’t feel good to play.
That being said if I were to go down the PvE side the video series would take a heavy roleplay route with me 'voice acting' my lines and trying to do things a little different. Think of the old days of franky on PC. That sort of thing, and if you know that know your old just like me. (kidding!)
And before anyone says it: yeah, yeah “skill issue.” Sure. Fine. Probably. But I genuinely don’t care. I’m not trying to sweat Tarkov PvP, I’m trying to make a fun, consistent series and forcing myself into a mode that’s burning me out isn’t it.
So I genuinely want your feedback: Would a PvE-focused version of the series interest you? Would you still follow the journey if it shifted in that direction?
I appreciate any thoughts you’re willing to share — it helps a ton.
GUYS!! We hit 2K and with time to spare before 2026! This is absolutely insane. Thank you so much for all the love, support, and for choosing to hang out in this little corner of the internet.
Knowing my content resonates with so many of you is crazy motivating and honestly super validating.
I’m already looking ahead to 2026, and we’ve got our next goal lined up: 3K subs.
Tarkov 1.0 is less than 24 hours away. And for the first time in a long time, I’m stepping into this game—with all its chaos, its brutality, its beauty—with a different mindset.
My PVE vs PVP video stirred up a lot. Some of the comments were useless noise, sure, but they also pushed me to reflect. To look at Tarkov—and myself—through a new lens.
So here’s the truth I’m walking into 1.0 with:
I’m not the best.
I have a life outside this game.
And that’s completely fine.
I’ve invested too many years, too many hours, too many “one more raids” to walk away without at least trying to finish what I started. And now, with no more forced wipes, I finally have something I never had before: time. No ticking clock. No reset waiting to erase the journey.
Starting tomorrow, I begin gathering footage for a brand new series—my journey to complete the main story of Tarkov. No shortcuts, no gimmicks. Just the long road ahead.
I expect it to be difficult. I expect to be stuck. I expect weeks where nothing goes right. And if I hit a wall so high I can’t climb it? Then I’ll step into PVE and finish the story there. Because this time, the goal is progress to beat the game, no matter where.
This 1.0 launch is my chance to play with a clearer, quieter perspective. A year away from the game gave me that. Maybe it’s exactly what I needed.
I’m hopeful. Cautiously, honestly hopeful. And I pray it isn’t crushed by the same toxic gatekeeping that has held this community back for years.
And to the new players coming in through Steam—god bless you. I still don’t fully recommend Tarkov unless you’re heading straight into PVE, but I genuinely wish you luck. You’re walking into something fierce, something flawed, and something unforgettable.
Here’s to 1.0. Here’s to a fresh start. Here’s to finishing the story—no matter what path it takes.
kinda crazy that a video titled "Controversial opinions" enrages a few people. Almost like its CONTROVERSIAL and OPINIONS. Its satire and subjective... we need an IQ test before some people can use the internet and spread their brainrot, lmao.

Sorry for the somewhat content drought folks. Been taking a slight break due to holiday madness.
to give you all a peak under the hood I am working on the script for a very important video. "A year on YouTube - Retrospective"
Normally I would have shorts coming out during long normal video breaks but due to the holidays I got nothing loaded. I will do my best as always!
Love you all and happy new year <3
