Humble Servant of Allah
Sins can affect far more than we realise.
They can affect your knowledge, rizq, relationships, worship, and willpower and even make things feel more difficult.
In today’s reminder, Ustadh Mohamad Baajour explains 6 dangerous effects of sin and why we should never delay repentance.
A powerful reminder from Ibn al-Jawzi compares sins to a stain on clothing:
If you do not clean it quickly, it spreads.
The same applies to the heart.
🎥 6 Dangerous Effects of Sin Every Muslim Should Know
May Allah forgive us, purify our hearts, and make us among those who rush back to Him after every mistake. Ameen.

Most of us have memorized Surah Al-Ikhlas.
But do we truly realize its reward?
The Prophet ﷺ taught that Surah Al-Ikhlas is equivalent to one-third of the Qur’an in reward.
And Ustadh Mohamad Baajour explains an important point: reciting it three times does not replace reading the Qur’an, but the reward is tremendous.
Only 4 ayahs.
Only a few seconds.
But an incredible virtue.
🎥 The Reward of Surah Al-Ikhlas Is Bigger Than You Think
May Allah make the Qur’an the light of our hearts and make us among those who recite it consistently. Ameen.

Shaytan doesn’t give up when one trap fails. He simply tries another.
Shirk. Bid‘ah. Major sins. Minor sins.
And if those don’t work, his methods can become much more subtle—even keeping you excessively busy with permissible things or distracting you from a greater good with a lesser good.
In today’s khutbah, Ustadh Mohamad Baajour explains 7 traps Shaytan uses against the believer and, most importantly, how we can protect ourselves.
🎥 The 7 Traps of Shaytan Every Muslim Must Know
Allah tells us:
“Indeed, Shaytan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy.”
May Allah protect us from the plots of Shaytan and keep us steadfast until we meet Him.

Sometimes we complain because of one thing we are missing… while forgetting hundreds of blessings Allah has already given us.
In today’s reminder, Ustadh Mohamad Baajour shares the authentic hadith of three men who were blessed by Allah and then tested.
Two forgot where their blessings came from.
One remembered.
🎥 One Hadith That Will Make You Stop Complaining | Ustadh Mohamad Baajour
Before complaining today, stop and think:
What is one blessing in your life that you rarely thank Allah for?
May Allah make us among the truly grateful. Ameen.

“What will people say?”
How many decisions in Muslim families are made because of that one fear?
Weddings. Marriage. In-laws. Money. Family expectations. Even things that clearly conflict with the deen can become normal simply because “everyone does it.”
In today’s reminder, Ustadh Mohamad Baajour explains why Allah’s guidance must always come before the pressure to please people.
🎥 This One Mindset Is Ruining Muslim Families | Ustadh Mohamad Baajour
May Allah protect our homes, guide our families, and give us the strength to choose what pleases Him over what pleases people. Ameen.

What do you say when all the doors seem to close?
Ibrahim عليه السلام was about to be thrown into the fire.
The Prophet ﷺ and the Sahabah were told that their enemies had gathered against them.
And the words they said were:
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Hasbunallahu wa ni‘mal wakeel.
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
When you’re afraid.
When you’re in distress.
When people plot against you.
When you can’t see a way out.
Take the means, put your trust in Allah, and remember: Allah is sufficient.
🎥 When All the Doors Close, Say These Words | Ustadh Mohamad Baajour
May Allah give us true tawakkul and make a way out for everyone going through difficulty. Ameen.

What will save you on the Day of Judgment?
We prepare for our careers.
We prepare for retirement.
We prepare for emergencies.
But how much are we preparing for the one day we know is coming?
In this powerful reminder, Ustadh Mohamad Baajour discusses the means of salvation: Tawheed, following the Prophet ﷺ, guarding our obligations, controlling the tongue, sincere repentance, istighfar, duʿāʾ and preparing for the Hereafter before death reaches us.
One of the most striking reminders from the khutbah: some of the Sahabah who were given glad tidings of Jannah were still concerned about their salvation.
We are guaranteed nothing. Are we preparing enough?
🎥 The Prophet ﷺ Told Us What Can Save Us on Judgment Day | Ustadh Mohamad Baajour
May Allah make us among those who are saved on that Day and granted Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.

Before you ask Allah for anything, remember these 3 words:
هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ
“It is easy for Me.”
That problem keeping you awake at night may seem impossible to you.
But remember Who you’re asking.
The One who granted Zakariyya عليه السلام a child in old age.
The One who granted Maryam عليها السلام a child without a father.
The One for whom nothing is impossible.
Don’t measure Allah’s ability by the size of your problem.
Make duʿāʾ with certainty. 🤲
🎥 Before You Ask Allah for Anything, Remember These 3 Words | Ustadh Mohamad Baajour
May Allah answer every sincere duʿāʾ that is good for us. Ameen.

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
We wanted to share something new we've started: a weekly email called Friday Dua.
Every Friday, we send one authentic dua, explained clearly, so you can understand what you're actually saying to Allah and start bringing it into your daily life, not just read it once and forget it.
We've sent the first two editions, and the response so far has been really encouraging, alhamdulillah.
If you'd like to receive it every week, please register here:
📩 tinyurl.com/mr3wp92j
It takes a minute, and inshaAllah it becomes something small you look forward to every Friday.
Please keep us, our families, and the Ummah in your duas.
Wassalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
Humble Servant of Allah
