We wil not be the generation who fail to pass down the Legacy of Faith and tell of God's faithfulness to the next generation. If you believe this, type Amen

I don't quite know what to think when I see someone who seems to come alive after a divorce.
They begin to glow again.🌟
They smile more.☺️
They regain confidence.🦁
They look lighter, healthier, and happier.🤸🏾♂️
Of course, appearances don't tell the whole story, and every marriage has two sides. But sometimes, these transformations reveal something deeper: the weight that person may have been carrying for a very long time.
It makes me pause!
Because marriage was never designed to diminish us.
It was designed to strengthen us.
To sharpen us.
To help us become more of who God created us to be.
Love is not always convenient. It requires sacrifice, patience, grace, forgiveness, and intentionality. Yet when nurtured well, it produces one of life's greatest rewards: a partnership where both people flourish.
A healthy marriage should not require one person to shrink so the other can thrive.
Neither spouse should become their best self only after the marriage ends.
The goal of marriage is not merely staying together. It is growing together.
So perhaps this is an invitation for all of us to pause and reflect:
• Would my spouse say their life is better because I am in it?💫
• In what ways have I helped them grow, heal, thrive, and become more fully themselves?🌷
• Have I created an environment where they feel valued, seen, supported, and loved?💗
• How has this union made me a better person?👌🏾
• Are we becoming stronger together, or merely existing side by side?💪🏾
The strongest marriages are not the ones without challenges.
They are the ones where both people can honestly say: "I am better because of us."
That kind of marriage doesn't happen by accident.
It is built, day by day, through intentional love.
Here's a question for you- What is one thing you've learned about being a better spouse this year?

It was such a pleasure emceeing this event
A parenting seminar with class, loaded speakers and panelists. The reality is that as newer immigrants in Canada, out parenting comes under huge testing navigating two worlds, cultures, perspectives, different sets of values, all while trying to integrate and help our kids do the same.
Some of my key takeaways from the session:
- Be friendly with your children within boundaries
- Be involved and intentional
- Apologize to your kids when you are wrong- you model humility, self-reflection and so many great values to them
- In today's parenting, what you say does not matter as much as what you actually do.
- Take advantage of the best of both worlds.
The speakers and panelists brought in practical, professional, spiritual and personal perspectives, adding to the enriched conversation.

"No child turns out like that by accident."
That sentence stopped me in my tracks while reading The Power of a Praying Parent by Stormie Omartian.
In this story, a young man stood out among his peers—not because of talent or achievement (though he had plenty of both), but because of his character. He carried himself with conviction, integrity, and respect for God. When Stormie later met his mother, she realized his life was the fruit of intentional parenting.
As parents, especially those of us raising children in today's culture, it's easy to focus on grades, sports, opportunities, and accomplishments. But the bigger question is:
Who are we raising our children to become?
The adults our children become tomorrow are being formed by the values, habits, conversations, examples, and prayers we cultivate today.
Intentional parenting isn't about perfection.
It's about consistently pointing our children toward character, faith, wisdom, purpose, and identity.
Because legacies are not built by accident.
They are built intentionally, one day at a time.
❤️ What character trait are you most intentional about building in your children right now?

This one is for the boys.
In a time where identity is often unclear, pressure is high, and direction is not always obvious…
many young men are left trying to figure it out on their own.
So we are creating a space to change that.
Boy, You Matter- STAND is a conference for the next generation of men (ages 13–18) — designed to help young men be grounded, challenged, and built.
Not through lectures…
but through real conversations, mentorship, and truth.
A space where they can:
* understand who they are
* build discipline and confidence
* learn how to handle pressure and emotions
* develop healthy relationships
* begin to walk in purpose
Because becoming a man does not happen by accident.

What is your LEGACY?!
Is it too creepy to think about your own obituary? Actually, yes it is! But dare to and see what happens inside of you.
I did and it revolutionized how I show up (not perfectly, but better aligned).
At one point or the other, we will all exit this world. The question is beyond what you leave behind, what will generations choose to carry forward because of you?! Because you lived?!
Let me leave you with the words of Peter Strople- "Legacy is not leaving something for people. It’s leaving something in people"
What are you leaving in people? This doesn't start when you are 'older'. Believe it or not, we are already shaping a legacy by the way we live from the moment we gain consciousness as humans.
The thought of how our existence would/might shape this world after we are gone creates a certain intentionality and purposefulness to how we live, choices we make and the aspirations we pursue.
A Legacy minded person knows that legacy is in the everyday things we do, the deposits of love, value, compassion, impact and influence we make in the lives of others and this is a daily occurrence.
So what does Legacy mean to you and how are you living it out? Share in the comments!

Someone who's willing to believe the worst about you at the first error, never believed the best about you to begin with. They saw an opportunity to justify their worst thoughts about you and took it. Especially if you take measures to rectify, reconcile, or course correct and you're met with cold shoulders.
Such an experience can be truly hurtful because you have to wonder, where's the benefit of doubt?
That said, acknowledge your error, apologize, forgive, and release them from your heart.
Never let such an experience or any offense, for that matter, make your heart hardened. And as for you, it continue to believe the best about others.
Remember, Love believes the best about others. 1 Cor 13:7 (AMP)

As women we often hear "you cannot have it all" or that "you can never have a 'balanced' life". But what does all that truly mean?
What if instead of constantly feeling like we are chasing shadows, we focus on being the Holistic persons we were created to be and enjoy the process?
And that is what this Virtual Conference is about. So Ladies, we saved the best women event for last! 😁
I founded LadiesArise as a book club during COVID to help women who want to build reading habits. It has since then been evolving to more and I am glad to present to you our first virtual conference. Our vision is to help women live intentional, purposeful and holistic lives.
Our panel members have been selected carefully to engage us in an enriching and empowering conversation on how to do just that! This is a free event, but registration is required. Save your seat by scanning the QR code or use this link- us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/JaHAVVslShiIyYtbv…
Be sure to invite a sister. I look forward to seeing you in 5 DAYS!
PS: This is saddled in Christian faith values, and we will pray, and reference the Bible. Not to deter anyone, all are welcome, just in full transparency. 🥰
Share with a sister who needs to be part of this.
