Something I want to address about Apocalypse and updates if you interested in reading (down below)




So, if you remembered, I have a little animation for got a little too much population called “Epoch” and it kick started my whole career and became a staple of my channel

People really like Apocalypse lore for a lot of reason. Personally, I don’t think it’s a bad story even thought it’s written by a 13-year-old and some parts are just carbon copy of zombie media I’ve consumed around that time. Heck you can even tell how unoriginal the name of the lore is really show how old and uncreative I was xD As much as I said I despise it a lot of time, it still one of my favorites!

So why I stop making Apocalypse stuff? Well, a lot of factors came into play, but generally is just, I don’t have time to work on something that bring little to no income. It kind of stinks when everything has to end up in profit and making money, I hate saying it that way. But if I really want to keep this as my main job, things won’t go my ways every time. Patreon/Ko-fi was really helped for a last few years, but it’s not enough for me to fully dependent on it

Apocalypse is a personal project means I curated and directed based on my personal favoritism, so a lot of song chosen for my project are indeed, copyrighted. And that’s detrimental especially each project takes months to do. I know Youtube revenue isn’t much, but it’s still nice to see if I make even a dime from something I put so much love into, it’s more like motivation token than actual money. I still keep my channel mostly because I love doing animation. If not, I already invested in pumping shorts and clickbait content a long time ago
It’s been 3 years since I bring anything new regarding to that project. But hey, I have to say, I really do want to make something for it, I have a few projects planned regarding monetization or not, but it’s been years and I couldn’t have time to even start the concept art phase. That’s accounting on the 2nd factor, time. I’m no longer a child who has all the time of the world, and each project demand higher quality than the previous one, means more time invested on it. To be frank, I don’t want to starve while working on it :P if I spend 3 months working on a project that’s de-monetized, that’s means I’m probably cooked and go live on the street at that point. I have to balance my job/animation/commission so I basically have little to no time for hobby projects, nor find the motivation to justify starting a colossal of a project as a “hobby work”

There one more issue which is just nit-picky, I mostly keep it to myself since it's not that of a big deal but I should mentioned this issue as well. I’m a bit distance from the Apocalypse community in general. Most of you guys are great! I meet a lot of people who just genuinely enjoy the project and how it’s unfolded. But there are some individuals who is really getting on my nerves. Parasocial people, stalkers, and those who think violence/wars/guns are the coolest thing ever. I do enjoy apocalypse media, but I never want to romanticize or praise war and violence as a whole. I also never into roleplays, I hate roleplays. So when you contact me, don’t act like I’m a soldier or like the coolest person ever. I Just animate and I’m nowhere close to the image you put on me. I’m also apologize that I can draw anything 100% accurate (?) I’m sorry for never interested in guns/firearms to the point I need to draw every animation frame as correct as possible. Just one extra note is that, I work on all of these out of passion and having fun, so most of them have more of an artistic approach than realistic :P Sorry if something doesn’t look like what you wanted. But one counter point that I would take the blame for is that I didn’t do proper research before tackling on this genre, which I’ll try to work on. I know most of audience curated from the projects are children, and I know I can’t escape that no matter what. But the more those groups shove those things in my face, the more I hate this project, and myself for making this project. A lot of time I wished Epoch never existed, hence why you see me post more project for other lore than Apocalypse in the last 3 years, because it brought more troubles than just simple a fun project to work on during my summer break. But lowkey I also say I was emo and that just a general impression on the project, it’s probably not that bad

But hey, on the bright side I’m still super grateful how Apocalypse project brings up more attention about my work to bigger media outlet. I’ve been contacted by a lot of music distribution to let me use their music for my work and with payments. The highlight probably bbno$ & Makeship, but I’m currently collaborating with a few more which will be released around later this year >:) Sadly, none of them is Apocalypse lore related. But I’m super happy to see that it can potentially be a stable job!

About the project itself, worry not though, I’m still trying to find an empty spot on my calendar to start a few animations for Apocalypse sometimes in the future. It’s a far fetch idea, but worth a shot xD

I really want to address this for a longest time, maybe even back in 2023. But I never have a chance to say it. Mostly I’m afraid to face the truth or make you guys disappointed with the outcome. But I starting to embrace the harsh truth the older I get, adulting isn’t easy. I’m still grateful that I’m still able to animate and live comfortably at the moment. It’s been 8 years since I start this little hobby of mine and it still feel surreal that I can potentially working on this for as long as I wanted, so thank you all for the support! I think I said enough thank you so I’ll probably shut my yap for now!

One last thing, I’m working on 2 projects for October, stay tune and wish me luck on finishing both >:3 I genuinely hope you guys enjoy all of my works and other projects and not just Apocalypse, because I know I have more than that on my sleeve and I hope you all are in for the ride as well!

I'm also working on another project during this time as well, an original animation meme!
I know that sounds like a lot of work but I'd rather take my tme to finish this birthday/10 year anniversary animation since it's currently overlaping on other projects that i scheduled for this year. So I'll squeeze it in betweens my scheduled projects, but sooner or later, it'll be finished this year promised promised
