For 15 years as Resident DJ of London’s legendary Bollywood clubnight Bombay Funkadelic, DJ Shai Guy has wowed over audiences with his high energy, easy approachability and his incredible ability to mix and mash genres from East to West.
He held six-month residencies with Flex FM and Spice FM. A long-running relationship with the BBC, creating over forty mixtapes across Radio 1, Radio 1Xtra and the Asian Network, including a one year residency with Bobby Friction’s The Mixtape Series and a weekly residency on the Breakfast Show’ with 60 Monday Morning Mashups.
His club residencies with B4U Nights and Zing Presents The Bollywood Experience propelled him into a household name, being invited to open for Farhan Akhtar at Joon Festival, perform private events for the likes of the Hinduja Brothers and the Pratham Gala, whilst also entertaining corporate events for Vodafone, Nandos, Sapient and the London Indian Film Festival.
