This weekend, I stayed with one of my favourite hotel brands in the U.K. 🤩
.
Every now and then, you find a real gem of a hotel. I discovered this place a few years ago when I stayed at their property in Oxfordshire (near the Cotswolds), and have now stayed with them four times across two of their hotels (they have 3 in total, so one left for me to 'tick off'!). 🙂 ✅
.
If you're looking for a great place to escape to in the U.K., please consider this one. For a room on a weekend night, I paid £102 - I'd consider this a bit of a bargain, considering the quality on offer! 👏🏼 These hotels are little destinations in themselves - they've got gorgeous bar areas by reception, and then a full-scale American diner restaurant just across the car park (I believe the Manchester hotel is within the same building). 🙃

This weekend, I've been at Badminton Horse Trials! 🐎 If you're not familiar, Badminton is one of the U.K.'s most famous equestrian events.
.
It comprises of 3 aspects: dressage, cross country and show jumping, with Saturday (the day I was there) being the cross country day. I'll admit that I'm not overly 'in' with the equestrian crowds, but I do absolutely love this event - I always find it fascinating to see the level of skill that's required to get around a course like this - it's incredible! 🤯
.
Throughout the weekend, I couldn't stop thinking back to when my Mum and I went horse-riding in the Arctic last Summer (see the last photo!) - I don't think we're ready for Badminton quite yet... Perhaps one day though, right?! 😂

I recently stayed at a new hotel that I've never stayed at before in Miami (South Beach), and was really impressed. 🙂 This hotel seems to have acquired three other properties, and created a really modern and well-equipped resort right in the heart of one of the most prime areas of Miami - it's been so well executed! 👏🏼

If you're looking for somewhere to stay during your future Miami trips, I'd really recommend giving this place your consideration. Sure, it's not the cheapest in the city, but the quality really is there for the prices that they're charging (in my opinion, anyway). 👌🏼

We tried Palomar, one of the newer venues from Norwegian Cruise Line, while cruising onboard Luna last week. 🧐🛳️
.
This venue promises to bring Mediterranean flavours to your plate, and we were really impressed to be honest. To dine here, it'll cost you $60pp, or you can use one of your 'Free at Sea' meals if you've purchased that package for your cruise (we did). 🙂
