Before taking my first cruise, I had no idea where to start. I had very little knowledge of the industry overall, and I had no idea 'how to cruise'. One thing was clear - there were so many things that could go wrong.
As soon as I boarded my first cruise ship, I knew immediately that this was a way to see the world that I believed in, and then my YouTube channel was born.
Here at 'Fraser at Sea', I want to use my channel to help you to plan and have the best cruise possible. I share with you my cruise and travel tips, take you away with me in my vlogs, and aim to hopefully immerse you in the experiences as we go.

I’m sad to leave @EmmaCruises today - it’s been brilliant to experience this ship together across this past week - I haven’t cruised with Emma for SO long. I wonder what ship we’ll both end up on next… 🙄

Monaco, you absolute beauty. 🤩 🇲🇨

I’ve wanted to visit Monaco for years, and so I was absolutely thrilled to on this cruise. Norwegian Epic (the ship I’m cruising on) tendered to Villefranche-sur-mer, which was a brand new port for me! 🤯 After I booked this cruise, I realised it was only a couple of miles away from Monaco, and so I knew exactly what I wanted to do today… 😊

It’s been HOT - it was 38C (or 100F) for our call here, which had made my 23,000 steps pretty hard work(!), but totally worth it! ☀️ 🥵

Good morning, from Villefranche-sur-Mer, which is the 4th port of call on my 7-night cruise onboard Norwegian Epic. 🙂🛳

We're joined in port today by the absolutely stunning Orient Express Corinthian, which is a ship that I've never seen before. 👀 She's actually the world's largest luxury sailing yacht, and she's absolutely stunning - my jaw almost hit the floor when I went up on deck this morning to see both the stunning port scenery, and also Corinthain for the first time! 🤩

Welcome to my cabin onboard Norwegian Epic - would you cruise in this cabin type? 🧐 🛳

After a few issues with the Studio cabin that I'd booked (I'll fill you in on YouTube in my cruise review...), I was moved to this standard Inside cabin, which features the very controversial bathroom layout that this ship is famous for... 👀
.
Instead of a typical ensute bathroom that you'll find on most cruise ships, you'll find a toilet cubicle on one side of the door, and a shower cubicle opposite. Your sink is then out in the room itself - something that hasn't bothered me at all when cruising solo, but I'm not convinced I'd be happy sharing this cabin and hearing someone washing their hands in the middle of the night... 🙉😂

I’ve boarded Norwegian Epic in Civitavecchia, and I’ll be spending the next 7 nights onboard. This ship seems to get SUCH mixed reviews, and so I’m really looking forward to spending some time on here in order to form my own opinion on it… 👀

I’ve only been on a few hours, and it’s already clear that this ship is incredibly different to the others in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet that I’ve cruised on previously. I’m keeping a super open mind about it all, and I’ll fill you in properly in my YouTube review once I get home! 😊

I love moments like this - within a few hours of leaving my house in the middle of England, I’m in the heart of Rome eating a pizza and sipping a freshly poured beer - bliss! 🍕 🍺

Tomorrow, I’m heading across to Civitavecchia, the cruise port that’s considered local to Rome, to board my next cruise. 🛳️ I’ve never embarked a ship here before, so this will be my first time trying to take the train from the city out to the port… Wish me luck! 😬 🤞🏼

I’m on the move today, as I’m travelling to board my next cruise ship! 🛳️ I’m not boarding the ship until tomorrow afternoon, so I’m flying in pleeeenty of time, meaning that today is actually a pretty chilled travel day - I’m in no rush (hopefully not ‘famous last words’…)! 🙄

A weekend in Prague, Czech Republic! 🇨🇿🙂

I'm just back from a weekend in Prague, which allowed me to 'tick off' not just a new city, but also a new country for me! ✅ Before taking this trip, I wasn't too sure what to expect of Prague - most of the reviews I was seeing online were talking about the nightlife and the cheap beer, but very few would mention the architecture around this place - it's absolutely stunning! 🤩
