Shrink the Giant
Shrink the Giant is a playful and eclectic band of multi-instrumentalists, including the three Barr siblings, Stefania Barr, Sebastian Barr, and Jean-Christian Barr, with Morgan Handley chiefly on guitar and Alec Lowe on drums.
Formed in small-town Utah, they learned to record from home as teens. With the release of their debut album, the band’s development snowballed for more than a decade of independent recording, the release of their second album “Faceless,” playing festivals, corporate events, busking, busking, and more busking, resulting in the five-piece ensemble that exists today.
The band is now preparing the release of new singles, music videos, and a completed third album.

Our new song and music video Slow Lane is out now! Here are some BTS photos! This music video was INTENSE to shoot. We had the smallest crew imaginable: 5 band members (who also had to be on camera most of the time) and our parents. Everyone had to take turns setting up camera rigs mounted on cars, filming, acting, and managing logistics. We shot this over 2 long days with vintage vehicles that didn’t always start right away. The vintage Chevy needed a battery charge to its 6 volt battery mid shoot and we were lucky enough that it broke down at Dutch’s service station where we were filming. This was a miracle of a music video shoot and we’re so grateful that we got what we needed and for how fun the video turned out.
