Hi everyone. Happy holidays, Merry Christmas, and hope you all have a great New Year.
This year I learned 25 piano songs which I’m super happy with. Only 24 were uploaded as my piano broke during the recording of Love Story by Helder Boutens.
I reached over 11k views and 98k impressions in my first year on YouTube which feels insane. I can’t wait to build on top of that next year.
Thanks you all for subscribing and I hope I can get back to uploading soon :)

So yesterday my Kawai broke. It's not looking economical to repair it so I'm now without a piano until I can buy a new one. I can either replace it with a second hand model or I can upgrade to a new and better piano. However, I won't be able to do either until the New Year as I'm currently in the middle of buying my first home and all my available funds are tied up in that.
I currently had two songs learned and ready to record to video and another which I was working on to be released for the New Year. I had also started working on original songs/ideas too. It's a shame they all now have to wait. I'll post another update when I'm back in action.
I hope you all stick around to see these eventually come in the new year. In the meantime, feel free to find me on tiktok or IG @llexis2197 if you wanna talk more about my videos, my writing/recording process, and whatever else.
Thanks all

Hi all. Just a quick post. I've started getting a few comments requesting the sheet music for the songs I've covered. I've started emailing a few of the original composers of the songs to ask if I can have permission to share my interpretations. By default, I don't have permission to do this and I don't want to risk getting myself in trouble for anything. If I get permission, I'll start leaving download links in the video descriptions. Thanks :)

Hey. 50 subscribers! The half way mark to my first goal. I just wanted to say thanks to all who are watching my videos. Seeing two of my videos get over 1k views each is crazy to me. Plus each time I open my YT to see a notification of a new subscriber really makes my day - so you've each put a smile on my face at one point.
I've got a recording I'm currently working on/practicing right now which will hopefully be out tomorrow, assuming I can get the single take done. It's probably the hardest song I've recorded to date.
If anyone here has TikTok, I'm also on there and super close to 200 followers: www.tiktok.com/@llexis2197
I post my edited clips there too, as well as solo excerpts from artists Einaudi and Radiohead.
Thanks again. See you all at 100 subscribers :)

Hey everyone - I just wanted to say a big thank you for subscribing and supporting my channel. It genuinely means a lot. The last month has been crazy for viewership and I hope I can keep up that trend.
Just so you know - I learn the vast majority of these songs by ear, which means I don't use sheet music or watch tutorial videos. So whether it's a track I've been wanted to cover for a while, or something that's been requested - it can take a bit of time to get it right and recorded. I really appreciate your patience.
On top of that, I also deal with tinnitus, which can sometimes make it tough to fully enjoy the learning and recording process - especially on days when it's spiking. But creating and sharing these videos is something I truely enjoy, and your support makes it worth pushing through on the days it's not as bad.
Thanks again for being here. Feel free to leave requests in the comments - I do like listening to them all.
Next stop: 100 subscribers!
