Trainer Tip Tuesday!
Protein can be a struggle for many women. It wasn't until I started counting macros did I realize how much my body was missing out on protein. Once that was regulated and I started to view protein as an asset to my diet and not a struggle- I started to feel stronger and better! I'm telling you-MACROS are a game changer!
Why is protein so important?
1. Protein helps reduce our hunger hormone and boost several satiety hormones. This helps us eat fewer calories all the while feeling satisfied.
2. Protein helps our metabolism. It also helps us build lean muscle and restore muscle tears that happen when we strength train.
