After years of stuffing my face with tortilla chips and pizza because I 'worked out' - I began to constantly feel like crap. My genetic predisposition to diabetes and general 'feeling' meant it was time to get serious about my diet and embark on the adventure of eating low-carb. I aim to make food that is fit for 'foodies' like myself - but don't get me wrong, I still have pizza every so often...

A few months ago I won 2nd place in CreateTV's Cooking Challenge with my Cuban Picadillo recipe video! This week, the rest of the series, Cuban Kitchen, will air on @CreateTV as well as my own. The recipes are for Cuban dishes that I ate growing up and through my adulthood, so make sure to try them or make them for your loved ones!
Don't worry - I'm not abandoning healthy eating... but sometimes you can make dishes fit your macros ;-)
