In 2011, I wrote my holiday song for the displaced, "Everything is Broken", to perform with Digital Crafts Night and it's gained a life of its own, ever since. (The whole album wasn't finished until 2014)

Twelve years later, I'm posting THIS version of the video/song that incorporates "Everything is Broken" videos from the past ten years.

"Everything is Broken" is ten years old.

This year may not have had the shock value of the previous year, but the cumulative pain just may have made 2021 even harder than 2020. It was a year of medical complications, death and loss.

In May, we lost Keiko.
In June, we lost Saville.

Amidst my own medical complications and family drama, that really messed me up.

And I flew off to Massachusetts to work through my grief by directing a film about death and loss only to find out that my FATHER passed away, right before we started shooting. I swear, whoever wrote this story needs to learn about dramatic pacing.

I’m slowly coming up for air.
