Hello, I’m Sangeeta Natarajan—educator, author of Soul of a Leader, CBSE-empanelled resource person, and designer of learning, leadership & wellness programs.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of education, emotional intelligence, and conscious leadership—supporting students, parents, teachers, and institutions to grow not just smarter, but stronger from within.
On this channel, we explore:
• Emotional strength and mental well-being
• Leadership rooted in values, not pressure
• Education that builds clarity, confidence, and character
• Practical wisdom for everyday life and lifelong learning
If you believe success should come without burnout, fear, or confusion, and leadership should begin with self-awareness.
Then You’re Welcome to this space.

Your child's report card can't tell you the one thing that matters most: who they're becoming.
We've built an entire system around a single question — how much did the child score?
NEP 2020 has been telling us for years that this question is incomplete. It asks schools to move beyond content recall toward critical thinking, inquiry, and real-world problem-solving. Most classrooms haven't caught up.
Now AI is forcing the question open faster than any policy could.
If a machine can answer almost anything in seconds — what exactly is a 95% for?
In this conversation, we go beyond the usual marks-vs-no-marks debate to ask a harder one:
→ Can the child question, reason, create — or only recall?
→ What happens to curiosity when the answer always arrives first?
→ Are we teaching children to think, or training them to retrieve?
This isn't an anti-marks argument. It's an argument for a wider one.
We don't need fewer achievers. We need a broader definition of achievement.

🧠 What if children could learn to THINK before they learn to CODE?
That is the heart of Computational Thinking.
Computational Thinking is not about turning every child into a programmer.
It is about helping children learn to:
🔹 Break a big problem into smaller parts
🔹 Identify patterns
🔹 Focus on what really matters
🔹 Create step-by-step solutions
🔹 Test, learn, and improve
And these are not merely “computer skills”.
They are life skills for a world where AI can increasingly generate answers—but humans still have to ask the right questions, make decisions and solve meaningful problems.
For children, Computational Thinking can begin as early as Class 3, through simple puzzles, games, everyday situations and classroom activities.
🎯 The goal is simple:
Less memorising. More thinking.
Less following. More problem-solving.
Less consumption. More creation.
In my latest video, I explain “What is Computational Thinking?” from the very beginning—so that a child, parent or teacher can understand what it is, why it matters, and where it begins.
▶️ Watch the video and try the thinking activity with a child.
Think. Break it down. Find the pattern. Solve it.

To
Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi Ji
Prime Minister of India
Prime Minister’s Office
New Delhi – 110011
Subject: Heartfelt Birthday Greetings and a Note on India’s Children and Education
Respected Modi Ji,
Warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to you on your birthday.
On this special day, I would like to acknowledge not only your years of public service, but also the larger journey of India that is unfolding—with a stronger presence on the global stage and an increasing emphasis on technology, innovation, skills and self-reliance.
As someone working closely with children, educators and educational institutions, what touches me particularly is the growing national conversation around the child beyond examination marks.
Initiatives and institutions connected with NEP 2020, PM SHRI Schools, Pariksha Pe Charcha and Atal Tinkering Labs have helped bring greater attention to experiential learning, innovation, curiosity, skills and the holistic development of young minds.
I believe this is where the future of India truly begins.
A developed nation is ultimately a nation that develops its human beings.
Every child who learns to question rather than merely memorise, create rather than merely consume, and think independently while caring for others becomes a contributor to the India of tomorrow.
My humble hope is that our schools increasingly become spaces where every child discovers not only what they can achieve, but who they can become.
On your birthday, I wish you good health, strength and continued opportunities to serve the nation.
May India continue its journey towards a future where knowledge meets character, technology meets humanity, and progress reaches every child.
With warm regards and best wishes,
Sangeeta Natarajan
