Hi all
I hope everyone is doing well.
I just wanted to pop on and let you know that I will have a brand new Video uploaded on the Channel on Monday at 19.00, it took a while but finally I've got one made well I think it's made well it is made but I've no idea how it sounds as I've noticed one on my microphones is acting in a very strange way.
This was actually the third video that I've made the first was absolutely terrible and I just wasn't happy with it so yesterday I made another one which just whilst I was filming it it all just felt right so I was more than happy but when I uploaded it to you YouTube and did a preview the sound was extremely low so again I just wasn't happy with it and today (and hopefully third time lucky) I made the same video again. It's a flip through of the latest Grazia Magazine and hopefully it sounds ok.
Anyway that's all I wanted to say.
So please to check back on Monday at 19.00 and see what you think
Thanks

Hi all and welcome back once again to my little corner of YouTube.
So if you've been keeping up with all my posts here then I'm sure you know that I've been battling Cancer for the past few months and that I had my surgery back at the beginning of October and that I had been waiting on the results just to see how the surgery had gone and also to see if it had done what needed to be done.
Well last Tuesday which was the 28th I finally got my results and I'm super happy to say that the operation went absolutley perfectly and my surgeon told me that they had managed to get all the Cancer out which was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.
I was so nervous going into the room where i was given the news and even though i got the news that I wanted I still felt nervous even after the words came out of his mouth as I don't think I believed it at first as I had prepared myself for the worst news and even now it feels quite strange and its been a few days.
So I now have to go for a couple of Scans one to just make sure the Cancer has been removed and hasn't got anywhere else and one which will hopefully tell me that all the work that went into repairing my Bowel is healing as it should and it will also get me the results that will let my surgeon know if my Stoma can be reversed so I'm now just going to be keeping my fingers crossed for that but he has already told me that he doesn't think there will be any problem doing a reversal so hopefully he's right.
So i just wanted to let you all know the news.
I am hoping to get back into making videos for the channel as soon as possible although I will have to check all my camera equipment is working as it should beforehand, but I will be back very soon so hopefully everyone will give my new videos a watch.
Anyway thanks for reading and I'll be seeing you very soon.
Bye for now

Hi all
I hope everyone is doing well.
So just a quick update on my health as you already know if you read my last post my surgery has now been done and although I'm still waiting for the results I have been told that they think everything went well so I'm keeping my fingers crossed and literally just hoping for the best news, the surgery was on 2nd October so just over a week ago now and when I left the hospital I felt pretty good but at the moment it is quite painful but I'm sure I can deal with it, the actual operation took a total of 8 hours and 10 minutes which shocked me so much as for some reason I was thinking it would only take around 2 hours but I was definitely wrong with that one.
So like I said I am still waiting for all the results so I'm not to sure what happens next, all I do know is that the stoma surgery that I had to have back in February and needed to be changed during this operation is 100% reversible which I am so thankful for as they originally said it might be permanent which is great but unfortunately it does mean I will have to have another operation to put that right but it is what it is and I'll just go through with whatever needs to be done.
Finally what am I going to be doing with the channel and when will I be uploading videos again?
The answer is I do need my results back but if it's good news then I will be back very very soon as I've really missed making the videos so hopefully my head will be free of all the craziness of Cancer and I will hopefully be able to focus on something good as it's be a long time.
So again apologies for the quick update being so long and Thankyou for reading and also again thankyou so so much for all the support I really do appreciate it so Thankyou Thankyou and thankyou again...
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of the weekend and I'll see you all soon.

Hi all
I hope everyone is doing well
I just wanted to pop on here and say hello as it seems like forever ago since I was last here.
So hello.
Well this is the week that I finally get my surgery (unless it's cancelled) and the procedure I'm having is a robotic low anterior resection with anastomosis and defunctioning ileostomy. Which sounds very strange or I should say looks very strange when I see it written down but I guess it is what it is and if I'm honest I'm just happy that it's finally happening as it feels like my whole Cancer situation has been going on forever but it's actually only been 8 months which don't get me wrong it is still quite a long time but to me it feels like a lot longer.
So hopefully everything goes how it should and I can get myself back up and running as normal again.
I've literally spent the last two days trying to remember what I need to take to hospital with me I have a list so long but I guarantee I'll forget at least one thing which will probably be the most vital thing (usually a powerbank or a charger)
Anyway that's all I wanted to say really, sorry it's only a quick one I'll be back posting videos as soon as I can be and I really can't wait to get my little corner of YouTube back up and running again as I've missed the channel and you guys so much.
Thanks for reading everybody.

Good morning everyone
So again I thought I'd pop on and just give you all a quick update as to what's going on with me at the moment as it feels like it's been a while since I last spoke to you.
First off I have to apologise invade I make some mistakes in this post as if you've seen any of my videos I'm sure that you will have noticed my finger nails are quite long and yesterday I somehow broke my left thumb nail and it seems to be stopping me from tapping the right letters on my iPhones keyboard.
So on the 4th July (Friday) I had my last Chemotherapy session which was the third out of four and unfortunately my body had quite a bad reaction to it and I was admitted to hospital on the Sunday and kept in just for one night which wasn't to bad and I have to say to all the doctors nurses hca's and every person I met at the Christie hospital was absolutely amazing and I really can't thank them enough.
Anyway so although I kind of though this was what happened with Chemotherapy I wasn't 100% certain but it seem I was right and that each Chemotherapy treatment as you go through each session they get stronger and the third one was I guess where my body reached its limit in being able to handle it and afterwards whilst I was on my way home I felt very sick and I only just made it through my front door before the sickness came and basically it didn't stop and I was at the point of not being able to eat or drink anything and because of that it went on to effect my Diabetes (I'm type 1, I'm not 100% sure if I e ever mentioned that before)
Which took me to the edge of going DKA which if you don't know is Diabetic ketoacidosis which can be life threatening so luckily I was in the right place at the right time, but I got through it and well my fight will carry on but I have made the discision to stop my Chemo as I honestly don't think my body can take it again which I'm sure you probably think is a very stupid thing to do and I have to say I do agree with you but at the start of the treatment plan I was told that I may need one or two Intravenous Chemotherapy treatments and I've now had three so the doctor that I spoke with just before I was discharged didn't think it would be a problem so I'm literally just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best.
My next appointment is on Thursday which is just for a blood test and a talk with my doctors who will hopefully be able to tell me the plan as to what I need to do next.
So that's me sorry it was short but I really haven't been upto much, I kind of wish I'd documented the whole Cancer journey on video now just so people could see what happens on the journey as the amount of people you see on YouTube and well most other platforms who are either on or about to start the same journey is pretty scary and I'm sure that they will be worried about it all just like I was so I think it would of been good but it's obviously abit late now, ah well
So as always thankyou for reading and Thankyou again for all the support it really does mean so much to me when I read all the comments so Thankyou very much.
Take care Steven

Hi everyone
I hope everyone is doing really well
I'm doing ok considering everything that's current going on in my life, I finally finished my first round of Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy they both ended on the 29th April and I was originally told that I have to wait 6 weeks before I can have the next MRI scan just to see what's happening with my Tumor but it's now about three week wait before I've been told that I have to do another round of Chemotherapy which this time is going to be 12 weeks of intravenous Chemo so it goes into the body through a Vein (my first round of Chemo was with Capecitabine tablets) which isn't something I wanted to do as the chance of hair loss is pretty high and I've spent the last 8 years growing my hair so I can't lie I am absolutely gutted about that but unfortunately it's something that needs to be done so I'll just get on with it and hope for the best so I have an appointment on the 22nd May just for a talk about everything that's current will be happening and then I start the actual Chemo the next day. And that is where I'm upto.
Anyway moving on so about three weeks ago someone left a comment asking when or if I will be uploading any more videos, the comment has been deleted now for whatever reason so I've absolutely no idea who it was but I'm sure some of you have been wondering the same thing so at the moment I honestly don't know when I'll be back with a new video as I'm currently staying in Manchester and all my cameras microphones and everything else I need to be able to make videos is at home down in Cornwall, now I am hoping to go back and collect a few things hopefully in the next couple of days so I will bring my camera back with me and also my PC as I still need to get that finished, so depending on how the hemp makes me feel I'm hoping that I will be back sooner rather than later.
Sorry I can't give you an exact date but I honestly dont know.
Anyway Thankyou for reading and hopefully I will be back as soon as I can be.
Take care, Steven

Hi all
I hope everyone is doing well.
I just wanted to pop on and let you know what happening and how I'm doing with all that's happening in my life at the moment, well I'm actually doing really well considering everything that's happening with my health, I'm a week and a half into my radiotherapy and chemotherapy and I've had very few problems with it so I'm m keeping my fingers crossed that that won't change both of those treatments are due to finish at the end of April the radiotherapy is five days a week Monday-Friday and the chemo is seven days a week, now I've had a few people ask me why I decided to move back to Manchester whilst all this is going on and it was for two reasons the first being I wanted to be closer to my family and the second was to be closer to a specialist Cancer hospital and although there are quite a few Cancer hospitals here in the uk but without me looking on Google I only know of two which are the royal marsden which is in London and the Christie which is literally a ten minute drive from where I'm currently staying so that's the one I asked to be referred to and I have to say I know a few people that have been treated there including family members and from my experience so far they really are a fantastic team so I'm super happy with everything so far and again I hope that doesn't change.
So once the radiotherapy and chemotherapy have finished I then have a six week ish wait for more tests and scans and then hopefully it's back into a different hospital for surgery, so I still have a long wait ahead of me but it feels like I'm getting through all ok so I'm so happy, anyway that's what I've been upto so far.
Thankyou so much for all the comments and support so far I really do love to read them, it does sometimes take me a while to reply but I will always reply as soon as I can so Thankyou all very much.

Hi everyone
I hope everyone is doing well
So just before I get into this post I just need to say an absolutely massive thankyou to you all because the amount of comments of support have been amazing and ea h and every comment means the absolute world to me so thankyou again.
Well where do I begin?
If you've seen my previous post then you already know what I'm doing at the moment and if not it's the dreaded C word
And to day after 4 cancellations over the previous 4 days I finally had my surgery for a stoma bag, it's not what I wanted (I'm pretty sure nobody wants a stoma bag unless it's for the good of there health of course) but it needed to be done so I was more than happy to just go with it, the operation itself seem to go well and my surgeon and the whole team who took care of me are in my eyes absolute heroes, it took I think about three hours and I woke up in the worst pain I have ever felt but that soon passed and I'm now lay back in my hospital bed and it's currently 22.14 and I'm feeling pretty good considering what I e been through, so next up comes the challenge of recovery and healing and then it's hopefully chemotherapy which I've not actually been told how long that's for but I've read it's more than likely between three and six months which is a worry as my work are refusing to pay me SSP as I've not done enough shifts or earnt enough money over the last 13 weeks (apparently having cancer and being unable to work doesn't mean anything) so I'm also trying to find what I can claim benefit wise (I have to say a huge thankyou to MacMillan Cancer for all the help they've been giving me with this situation as without them I wouldn't of had a clue what to do) which is horrible but again I'm going to do whatever I've got to do to keep myself going.
Anyway that's my little update on what's going on at the moment so Thankyou for taking the time to read it all.

Hi everyone
I hope everyone is doing well
So my last post was a few weeks ago now but if you want to go and have a read if you haven't seen it as this one probably won't make much sense.
So where do I begin as I'm not to sure where I was up to with telling you all what's going on in my life and the reason why my videos had stopped, but I think I'd told you about my hospital visit for the operation where I needed to have a lump I'd found removed so I'll start there (I should really go back and read so I know for sure but I haven't so if I repeat myself I'm sorry) so the lump had gone and that particular part of my body has now healed but that operation was the 15th January so I guess there's no reason why it would t of healed.
Now I'm sure I'd said I was seeing a cancer specialist as I had quite a few symptoms and I did see someone well I saw. Few different people on the same day and I had to go through a Colonoscopy which wasn't the most fun i e ever had but it needed to be done so I literally just went with it (a Colonoscopy is where a camera is put inside the body and they have a look around and see if everything is as it should be) and well mine only lasted about four or five minutes as the doctor couldn't go any further due to find a polyp which is a growth that we all have however this one was quite large and she just couldn't get around it. I have to point out at this point that if you have a Colonoscopy when you lay down on the trolley there are screens everywhere and I could quite clearly see everything the camera can see and this polyp was absolutely gigantic which is a bad sign so anyway they took quite a few biopsy's and I was taken in to recovery to well recover (when you see that on a screen it takes a long while to recover, all you think is it's cancer and the very worst thoughts come into your head and it takes a long time to get them out of your mind. I have to just quickly point out at that moment I was being seen up in Manchester where I still am and the hospital was a hospital that I use to work at (I've worked in hospitals for the NHS since 2018) anyway moving on after that was done that was Tuesday the 4th February and next was two scans on Sunday 9th February the first in the morning which was a MRI scan which basically tells you what stage the cancer is (bear in mind I still haven't even told if I actually have Cancer and they do these scans because if they find anything that looks suspicious then it's basically classed as Cancerous, the second scan was later on the same day at a differ hospital and it was a CT thorax scan which basically looks around the body to see if it's spread, and then I had to wait for what seemed to be forever.
And we come to this very day Tuesday the 18th of February and today at 9.00am I had an appointment with a surgeon and today is a day that I will never forget as I was diagnosed with stage three rectal Cancer, my world fell apart I'm scared, I'm worried, I'm absolutely petrified I had a phone call not long after I got back from the hospital telling my that I have to be back at the hospital 9.00am tomorrow to be admitted and my first surgery is on Thursday and that's to have a temporary Stoma bag which I'm not looking forward to but if it will help keep me alive then I'm more than happy to have it done then I have to start Chemotherapy to try and shrink the tumour and then hopefully they will open me up and get rid of it, I'm sorry it's a long post but I needed to write it I'm not sure when I'll be back on my channel with new videos but I am hoping it's sooner rather than later, I have still been buying Magazines so I do have quite a large collection to get the channel back up and running again so as soon as I feel ready to start I will be back.
I just need to say Thankyou to everyone whose wished me well over the last few weeks if I've not replied it's not because I'm ignoring you it's literally a case of I've so much going on at the moment and I've just not been checking my messages but I will get back to you asap.
