If you’ve watched my video on the original version of Sary Never Clear, then you probably know about a few issues with it. Mainly, I didn’t credit the verifier and also called the verification “illegitimate” because of the final straight fly. I want to take some time to explain what happened, why it happened, and how I plan to handle things differently going forward. Also, this isn’t meant as an excuse, I just wanted to get this out for all the people I offended.

1. Not crediting the verifier
This is the main issue and one that I take full responsibility for. I’ve unfortunately made this mistake before, and it usually happens because I don’t currently have a dedicated section in my video descriptions to credit verifiers. A lot of my showcases feature levels that are still unverified, don’t have an assigned verifier yet, or are newly released levels that just recently came out. Because of that, I never included a verifier section. I’m adding a dedicated “Verifier” section to all of my video descriptions from now on. The spacing in my descriptions is also sometimes inconsistent, so I’ll make them look cleaner overall. Moving forward, this will be part of my all my showcases from now on

2. The final straight fly and calling it “illegitimate”
This was really just a misunderstanding on my part. I like to use sarcasm when joking around with my friends, usually adding an exclamation mark so they know I’m kidding. I understand how that came across as disrespectful toward the verifier and the verification, which was never my intention. This was the first time I’ve made that kind of comment in a showcase, and it’ll be the last. I want my descriptions to stay factual, and not a place for me to display inappropriate behavior.

3. Why I didn’t respond sooner
This part was mostly a timing issue. On the same day, I had already uploaded two showcases (Nucleus Smelly and Gang). To space them out, I scheduled the Sary Never Clear video for 4 AM because I wanted to test if uploading at different times would help performance and also clear up my uploads. That idea completely backfired. I didn't check the video when I woke up, and by the time I got home from school later that day, people had already pointed out the issues. I hadn’t even checked the comments or analytics until hours later, which is why it looked like I was ignoring the situation. That definitely wasn’t the case, it just took me longer than usual to realize what had happened. There isn’t one single fix for this since it was more of an unfortunate combination of things like scheduling and timing. So I don't think revising anything could make too much of a change, but if you have any ideas, please comment them below

4. The gravity trigger at ~90%
This one is more technical, but I wanted to explain it for anyone curious. The jumps right before the final straight fly are currently impossible in 2.2, or at least I wasn’t able to get past them legitimately without noclip. To fix that, I used a feature with the "Frame Fixes" option of xdBot. Basically, I added a gravity trigger right before that section and then removed it after recording the macro. This works because xdBot tracks your position every frame instead of just your input. So I did this, and added a gravity trigger at 1.04 gravity for those jumps. It’s something you’d only notice if you’ve botted or played the level yourself. I added it purely as a small quality of life change to make the level flow better in the video.

In conclusion
I know that as a content creator, it’s my responsibility to make sure credit is given where it’s due and that the tone of my videos and descriptions, and I need to know that I'm posting these videos for anyone to see. I never want to make it seem like I’m taking someone else’s work and downplaying or misrepresenting how something was achieved. Thanks to everyone who pointed this out. I appreciate it more than you know. I want to continue improving the way I present content, and feedback like this really helps me do that. If you have any further suggestions on how I can handle situations like this better, feel free to leave a comment.

I've seen a lot of comments on my video for "frantic funhouse" where I included the fact that the level is still unrated in the title, the reason why that part of the title is included is because the level actually has 15 sends, as shown in the image below.
