We unashamedly share the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe and operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and believe that God’s word is the final authority. For more details on what we believe, please visit our website linked below.
Just take a moment to reflect on this passage…🙌🏼🙏🏼
Romans 5:18-21 (ESV) 18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. 19 For as by the one man’s disobedience [Adam] the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience [Jesus] the many will be made righteous. 20 Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, 21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
When addressing the topic of good and evil as it relates to the Sovereignty of God, we’ve only begun to develop the gist of the objection. It’s really a perspective issue – man will simply never ever see things the way God sees them. This is why it’s so critical for us to know the character of God; both as revealed in His Word, and equally as important, as He reveals Himself in our walk.
Have you ever struggled with rejection? Have you found yourself assessing the lives of others and decided you must be one of the less favored children of God due to the circumstances you see in your own life? Have you ever felt the need to earn the love of God by somehow proving you are worthy of it? This week on the blog Jordyn shares parts of her own testimony where the Lord has poured out His love on areas in her heart and life that had led her to ask questions similar to the ones above. I hope you will give it a read and I pray the Lord ministers to you! He loves you so much!
In case you missed it, this past Tuesday (10/28) I released a video titled “Does God Predestine Who Will Be Saved? | 1 Peter Series, Episode 1.” This video is the first of many that I will be releasing on Tuesday of every week until we complete the series. Many of you may already know, but we do weekly bible studies on our Patreon page, where these were originally released, but I felt compelled to begin to share these videos on YouTube as well. I hope you will grab your bible and jump in as we open the Word of God and study 1 Peter. This will not be replacing any of my other topical studies/videos or livestreams, but will just be an added playlist for you. If you missed the first episode, I’ll link it below.
“But I’m a good person. Why would God send me to hell?”
Have you ever found yourself attempting to answer this question? This week we explore "what is good" according to the scriptures and how to apply that to our everyday life, conversations, and even our questions.
Joel 2:12-13 (ESV) 12 “Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; 13 and rend your hearts and not your garments.” Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love; and he relents over disaster.
