I am SO sorry for the delay in videos! 😭I began recording a video but I was coming down with bronchitis. Now the bronchitis has taken over and my voice is completely gone. I sound like a dying goose that can talk but is dying so it's not happy... 😂😂😂 So yeah. That's what I'm currently doing. I miss you all so much! I will be back with an amputee update, some walking progress and more ASAP! ❤️

There will be a new video coming out this Saturday! The last few weeks have been filled with doctors appointments, tests, x-rays, MRI 's, tests, and more tests. I will update you in the upcoming video so stay tuned. ❤️

Since falling a month ago I have decided for the millionth time that I need to be less clumsy. 😂🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Falling as an amputee is both annoying and frustrating, especially during the summer! I should be out in the pool swimming circles! (Not laps, because I only have one leg and well, I go in circles..) 😂🦿

SO I fractured my femur.. 🤦‍♀️🦿

STORYTIME- Unfortunately, I fell 2 days ago. I landed on my stump and fractured my femur bone. The Doctor said not only are there micro fractures there's bigger issues with my femur bone and it's a good thing we caught it. The X-rays show I have either osteomyelitis (severe infection needing IV therapy for approximately 6-8 weeks) or necrosis of my femur where a portion has died, again. I have an appointment with my orthopedic surgeon in a couple of days.They will do more tests to find out exactly which condition I have, then we will discuss treatment. It's looking like another surgery is in my near future.

Oddly it's a blessing that I fell because I wouldn't have known that the femur has a major infection or necrosis. (Testing will show which this week.) On the bright side, during the surgery the doctors will be able to remove the nerve tumors (neuromas) when they cut off more of my femur bone. Life is a funny thing. Even in situations like this we can find something positive if we look for it. ❤️🦿💪 That said, I am so sad because I have been walking so well and that is now on pause. If I have surgery which is likely, I will have to start again with a whole new socket made. This breaks my heart truly. But I WILL be okay!

I will keep you posted as soon as I know more. Thank you ALL for your kindness and support. What an unexpected turn. 🤦‍♀️
