Just a quick message to let you know that I am actually cancelling this project.
Yes, I know, why am I cancelling so soon?

It's early January 2026, I am doing a quick recap of 2025, and of what I want to accomplish in 2026.

I had already edited and finished a few videos for this project.
The fact is that video editing is really time consuming, especially if it's educational, with subtitles and all that.

I have other projects for 2026, and unfortunately I would not be able to work on this project properly, or I would have to sacrifice other projects.

I hope you understand !

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing great !
I just wanted to write a quick message to let you know that I am aware I haven't been posting a lot of new videos lately, but I will try to slowly get back into it probably in December ? (maybe November, but I don't really think so, and I don't want to make any promise I can't keep.)

I have briefly mentioned these 2 points on other social accounts :

I had a bit of a health issue, so I needed to have surgery in early September. I don't really like talking about this, but all went well, I am doing fine, and most of the healing is done, but I still can't really be super active. I haven't tried going on long walks or on runs yet, but I think those will wait until at least December.

The second thing is that I went back to University in September! 😊🥳
I am studying Philosophy, with a minor in Law / Political Sciences. So that's a lot of learning and reading. It's really interesting, and I am putting all my focus and energy into that !

So these two things have meant that I really haven't done anything creative lately. And that when I'm not going to University I kinda like just staying warm and cosy at home. (I don't know how are the temperatures where you are? Here in the north of France, it has been much colder, with a lot of wind and rain. 🥶 )

It's not completely bad news, as I am glad I got the surgery and it has forced me to see life in a more positive light, and I am also glad I am throwing all my energy into learning, but as you can see, my focus is not into photography & videos at the moment !

I do really miss going out with my beloved camera though, so I can't wait to get back to it ! I would really want to put more thoughts into what I share with you though, I don't want to just go out and do whatever just so I can put 1 more video online.

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well!

I was in Genoa (Italy) last week, I had a really good time there with my mom, and I just got back home yesterday. 😊
This is why the video posting schedule was slightly disrupted these past few days. 😅

This week I will get back to the regular video posting schedule, which is every 2 days at the moment,
and I will continue sharing the videos from my trip in NorthWest France, where I saw the cities of Le Mans, Tours, Poitiers and Angers. 🙂

And then I will start sharing the photos and videos about Genoa, Italy ! 🥳

Hello, I hope you are having a good day !

As you may see, these days I am not posting videos every day... because sometimes life just gets busy with some other things! 😊

Also, I can't travel every day, and I think I really want to focus on sharing only Travel & Photography videos (and sometimes music). Basically I really want to only post videos that make me happy, I don't want to post videos just for the sake of posting every day.

I do have a few nice trips planned in the near future, but I will be travelling without my computer, so I will edit the photos & videos only when I come back home. That means there will be a slight delay between going on trips and sharing the videos.

Anyways, it doesn't really matter, as I will still post videos regularly on YouTube, so you probably won't see the difference.
But in case you want to be update sooner on what I am up to, I have started using Instagram & Bluesky again.
My username is @chhhmaris on all social media.
I am trying to use them sparingly, and I love that Bluesky feels like a very relaxing place, kinda like Twitter before it got all Business & Politics.
I don't want to encourage anyone to spend more time on their screens obviously, so don't worry I will still share everything here on YouTube !

I think the current name of my channel "Chris is Just Noodling" is fun, but it doesn't really represent what I am doing here.

I think one of the names below would be more representative, which one do you prefer ?

(also I am always confused with the 's , is that the correct way to write this ?)
