Some places you experience.
And some places make you stop, look up and simply say, “Wow!”

That was Château Frontenac in Québec City for me.

During my Canada trip last year, I got to explore this magnificent château-like hotel in Old Québec. I had seen countless photographs before, but seeing it in person was something else altogether.

Its grand architecture, steep roofs, towers, beautiful interiors and over 130 years of history make it much more than a luxury hotel. This is a place that has witnessed history — from the famous Québec Conferences during World War II to visits by royalty and even a Hitchcock film!

And, of course, for someone who loves photography, it was impossible to resist the camera.
