This is one of Toronto's best kept secrets and I love walking the path! If you are visiting Toronto as a first timer, for FIFA 2026 (next year) or for any reason, the Path is a great way to get from the main train station (Union Station) to downtown (The Eaton Center).
Check out what it looks like in real life, and even better - at Christmas!
Let me know what you think of this one.

Every single time I come on board as travel media to cover the World Creole Music Festival, I’m reminded of how massive, immersive, and unique this experience truly is.
A short video, a 10-minute vlog, or even a quick reel will never do it justice — because this festival is so much more than that. It’s more than recap clips. It’s more than viral moments (even though those definitely make you want to go!). This is a festival where we’re exposed to 12 hours of music non-stop — with intermissions, yes, but the beat never stops, the energy never fades, and the vibe just keeps giving.
It’s the kind of festival you can only understand by truly surrendering yourself to the experience.
And that’s why I decided to bring YOU into that experience — not in a rushed format, but in a way that lets you feel it, hear it, and relive it. Over the next three days, we’re going on this journey together.
👉 Join me tonight at 8 PM EST for the ONE-HOUR PREMIERE of Night 1 of the World Creole Music Festival – A Musical Experience on my YouTube channel.

Rize and Whine will forever be that Dominica independence fete! It feels like the jouvert of the independence season, except: we dress up nice, but the vibe is still amazing: a big reunion, and everybody has a good good time!

✨ Today marks the start of something legendary: I am officially embarking on the second part of my Solo Cross-Canada Tour! 🇨🇦✈️
Last year, I began this journey with the goal of exploring Canada one province and territory at a time: not just as a traveler, but as someone deeply curious about the stories, cultures, and communities that make up our country. Now, I continue that mission.
🔹 The Goals of this Tour are:
• To highlight the diverse identities, histories, and innovations that shape Canada.
• To showcase sustainable and responsible travel practices, ensuring we explore without leaving harm behind.
• To amplify local voices—from Indigenous communities to small businesses that often get overlooked in mainstream travel content.
• To create authentic storytelling that connects Canadians (and the world) to the depth of what this country represents beyond the postcards.
🌍 Why It Matters Right Now:
In a time when Canada is navigating questions of identity, climate resilience, and community connection, travel becomes more than leisure: it becomes a bridge. By moving province to province, I’m exploring how Canadians are preserving heritage, innovating sustainably, and reimagining the future of this vast country.
📍 What will Happen in This Phase:
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be exploring Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Newfoundland & Labrador, as well as Alberta, Prince Edward Island, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut: each with its own unique landscapes, challenges, and triumphs.
My hope is that this journey inspires others to see Canada not just as a destination, but as a living, breathing story that we are all responsible for telling and shaping.
If you’ve ever traveled solo, you know the mix of vulnerability and empowerment it brings. Doing it across one of the largest, most diverse countries in the world is both humbling and thrilling.
➡️ Follow along as I share insights, stories, and reflections from the road. Here’s to exploring Canada in all its depth—one province at a time.
