Hey guys,
This channel is never leorna-done. YouTube nowadays has become a harder place to get a following. In my case, it is like pulling teeth. However, for those of you who have been with me for many many years. I cannot thank you enough. Some of you saw me go from being an enthusiast to a scholar.

As one gains subscribers, he also loses subscribers. The way it works now is not really the number of subscribers. A subscriber count is just a visual marker for social proof. However, popularity does not always equate to a man of merit. Some have name and fame for their connections, catering to the current "modern" culture, "Ends justify the means" approach, forgoing all that is right and wrong, of honour and of dishonour.

This channel, this kingdom is not defeated, despite the many obstacles it has, still triumphs. There are people out there who want this channel to fail. They know who they are. Since 2014 and still standing.

In future, this channel will rise.

Welcome to my page where one can learn about Old English, also known as Anglo-Saxon.

I have an M.A. in Medieval Studies from King's College London, B.A. in Linguistics and Language Studies from York University, and I have well over a decade of experience with the language.


This language that dates roughly from 450 AD to 1200 AD. The language is like Icelandic, German and Dutch all in one. I aim to bring it back to life, and do not regard it as some obscure museum piece.


In addition to videos, image posts, I offer online tutoring. So if you truly want to learn this language and want someone to teach you, I can be your man. Send me a DM/email if you are interested.

I am happy to announce that the YouTube channel is now 12 years old. Thank you all for being around for either from the start, half way there, or just found me. I've been doing this for a while. I went from being an enthusiast to getting my B.A. in Linguistics and Language Studies at Glendon College of York University and then a scholar with my M.A. in Medieval Studies from King's College London.
