Drone Gun form factors are interesting to me.

The first picture is of a buddy of mine in 2015 when we were in college. We spent a little over a month carrying around a plastic M4 with batteries and antennae glued onto it.

It seems now a decade later the drone guns are getting bigger and bigger. It’ll be interesting to see another decade from now how they’ve changed (and hopefully gotten smaller).

The US Army is testing out the Bullfrog anti-drone gun on Bradleys and tanks. These are just cardboard mockups but I do think these images have to be jokes.

On the Bradley it’s on the CIV, a big camera that swivels around and you absolutely cannot place a weapon system there.

On the Abrams they placed it right in front of the Gunner sight which would blind the tank.

Obviously these are not the final locations, and I’m going to guess were placed there temporarily out of convenience and someone happened to take a picture. It is funny though to think that they could not have chosen worse places on the turret for both.

I got asked recently where I get my footage from.

For Ukraine stuff I usually just to go the source, one of them is the United24 app and it has free footage highlighting different groups and units they post themselves. Most things you find on YouTube have about 10 billion water marks and the quality is awful so this is a go to for me.

It also has a section where you can directly donate to specific units based on what they need at a given time, so if you wanted to help support the cause but were worried about blasting out a payment into the nether, this is a good way to make sure it actually gets to where it’s going.
