I'm not smart enough to ask the important questions so I just ask the dumb ones.

I just got back from an insane week trip up with the fine boys at ‪@americanapipedreamapparel‬ . We did interviews, a full warehouse tour, and a collab video on why you can buy fighter jets on Ebay.

Factory Tour is now live on Pepperbox:www.pepperbox.tv/video/10902?watchlist=false

Stay tuned here on Youtube for the next two videos this weekend! And go check out the AP youtube channel, they have some awesome bits on military gear and history.

Paratroopers regardless of country typically have the least amount of firepower, mostly because if it can't be jumped with, it can't be used. Dillon Aero, the guys who build the M134 Minigun, proved that if the jumpy bois want a bit more firepower next time, you can in fact jump one of their rotary guns in. Good luck jumping in the 10s of thousands of rounds you'd need also.

“Viffing” not to be confused with “Yiffing” is when a VTOL aircraft flips to hover mode mid-flight in order to force an overshoot by a trailing aircraft. Think of it as a very expensive party trick.

More on yiffing, sorry, viffing here: https://youtu.be/MH4m6pibyTs?si=H1fWY...

‪@sayhitoelishow‬ Had me on his awesome new podcast recently, and we had a solid talk about growing up in the Army, how it changed us, and what led to me sitting on a (very comfortable) chair talking to his camera.

Make sure to check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdNnS...

In case y’all missed it, my episode of the unsubscribe podcast dropped!

This is me telling the story of a solider who joined the Army because his uncle dared him to and he actually followed through.

The Army is eyeballing replacements for the M240 machine gun. Currently three are already on the market and more are expected to pop up. Do we actually need to replace this though? Which of the three would you prefer?

The U.S. Navy's 6th Generation Stealth Fighter might not be on the cutting board much longer.

In what can only be described as “defense budget déjà vu,” Congress is now stepping in to unfreeze funding for the Navy’s F/A‑XX sixth-generation carrier fighter. Recently decimated in official Pentagon plans in favor of the Air Force’s F‑47 program by greenlighting a draft spending bill that restores $1.4 billion to the jet while also reversing cuts to the E‑7 Wedgetail radar plane program previously slated for elimination. Despite the White House and Pentagon claiming that the U.S. defense industrial base can’t juggle two next-gen fighters at once (apparently believing Boeing’s arms factory resembles a one-man carnival act), the Senate Appropriations Committee has pushed back by not only un-freezing F/A‑XX funds but also demanding the Air Force continue work on the E‑7 system. So, yes, the Navy’s reportedly “gutted” fighter program is getting a lifeline because nothing says strategic clarity like Congress vetoing strategic nukes… in budgeting.

I was scrolling through older videos last night and realized that it's been a year since I started taking YouTube seriously. This was a video I posted before I hit 10,000 subscribers, and I remember at the time being thrilled that it got almost 200 views just in one day, even if it wasn't a fun topic at the time.

I just wanted to take a second to thank you guys. My YouTube audience literally pulled me out of a very bad hand life had dealt me last year, and now I'm able to put all my time an energy into making content for you guys. I know it's cliche and I'm hoping it doesn't come off as fake sincerity, but I literally owe it all to you all.

The use of military pistols in combat is getting rarer and rarer, but even during the early 20th century, made up the tiniest possible fraction of kills on the battlefield. Today now the pistol the US spent nearly 600 million to acquire is going off on their own and killing our dudes. The question is, what would you rather carry?
