In 1985, Parveen Afshaan Rao established the foundation of "Amal-e-Danish" organization, aiming to provide education and skills simultaneously. However, due to the prevailing security situation, this philanthropic endeavor faced delays. As soon as the opportunity arose, Amal-e-Danish School resumed its operations in Sarjani Town in 1995. (And as of today, in August 2023, it continues its mission across various cities in the country.)

The foundation of Amal-e-Danish School was laid for the first time in 1984 in Korangi, Karachi. The school was established with the concept of providing both education and skills concurrently. However, due to deteriorating security conditions in Korangi, the school had to be closed after some time. (The school was reestablished in Sarjani Town in 1995).
