this whole sombr drama is kinda annoying, and here’s my two cents as someone who’s definitely not qualified to talk about this!

since he’s blown up he’s made it clear who he is and how he acts. sure he’s 20 and still finding who he is, but it’s been clear to see what kind of performer and artist he is.

i understand the rage and annoyance people have towards his more vulgar comments he has at his shows. his audience definitely includes younger adults and older teens, which yes, should be taken account for, but don’t get all pissy when he’s doing the same thing he’s done for the past year. he’s been praised for sticking his tongue out when a bra gets thrown at the stage, but now because of one video criticizing one of his shows, he’s getting this negative down pour.

he’s young and i think personally just trying to touch bases with his whole fan base. he can acknowledge he has younger members, but he shouldn’t have to cater the whole show for just them, especially since we know that there’s adult at these shows. he’s attractive, and he knows it so he definitely uses it to an advantage more but so does every other performer out there, he’s just more open, and again, vulgar about it.

one thing i can understand thinking is weird is the “brain rot” he says at some shows, like the infamous 67 jokes he makes. and yeah sure, having an audience bark for you is unusual to some, it’s just part of his shows and how he entertains. it’s genuinely just what he does.

personally i would love to go to his show, but i wouldnt engage with the older and more mature natures of his shows, considering im younger and thats weird. people need to realize that nobody is forcing these kids to bark and call him names, they just do that. and yes of course he’s telling them to but still, they’re not being pushed and forced to do so, and if it ended up becoming a major problem, sombr would realize and change his act. he just plays into the “feminist, tall, attractive” aesthetic and people need to realize that about him and stop complaining at the things he’s been doing for a while.

so uhhh… new set!!

i just didn’t like the way the old ones colors were together and the patterns just generally weren’t cohesive so i redid it. also the retention was really sucky and i like these more!
