A few months ago, none of this existed. No website. No newsletter. No guide.
Just an idea that kept coming back to me.
I wanted to create something that felt a little different from the usual travel recommendations. Something slower. More personal. A way of sharing Provence through food, wine, seasons and the places that shape everyday life here.
And honestly, there were many moments when it felt completely uncertain. Would anyone care? Would I finish it? Was it worth spending so many hours on something nobody had asked for?
This week, the first printed copies arrived.
And for the first time, I could hold in my hands something that had existed only in my head a few weeks before.
The website is now online too. Neither of them is perfect. Both of them will evolve.
But there is something deeply satisfying about taking an idea all the way from imagination to reality.
Thank you to everyone who has been following along, watching the videos, subscribing to the newsletter and encouraging this project.
Spring has arrived on the channel 🌿 My Spring Couscous with asparagus, herbs and pistachios is now live. It’s the kind of dish I wait for every year — when the markets start filling with green again. Light, bright, and full of spring flavour. You can watch it here on the channel ✨
Winter needs bright. I used to think winter food had to feel heavy to feel comforting. Now I build it differently. Garlic in olive oil. Tomato for brightness. Spinach, ricotta, mint, lemon. Warmth without weight. Depth without heaviness.
The full cannelloni recipe is live now.
Let me know — do you prefer winter food rich… or bright? – Lucie
Winter doesn’t have to be heavy. This week’s recipe is a golden lemon chicken soup with spelt — inspired by avgolemono, but lighter and structured in a Provençal way. I’m curious: when it’s cold, do you crave comfort… or freshness? 🍋 Comfort 🌿 Freshness Full recipe is now live.

🍷 Episode 2 of the Provence Rosé Series is live.
This time, we're talking about colour.
Not just the colour of rosé itself, but how Provence helped change what people expect wine to look like.
As a winemaker, I find it fascinating that something as simple as colour can completely shape perception before a wine is even tasted.
I'd love to know what you think after watching it.
Did anything surprise you? And do you pay attention to colour when choosing a wine?

Seasons of Provence
I’ve just published the first episode of a new series I’m really excited about.
Not really about “the best rosés for summer” —
but about why rosé became emotionally connected to holidays, Mediterranean light, heat, long afternoons, and slower rhythms.
I wanted this first episode to feel more cinematic, atmospheric and sensory than educational.
But the series won’t stay only there.
Some future episodes will go much deeper into the technical side too:
colour, bitterness, freshness, texture, pale rosé production, Provence aesthetics, and the winemaking choices behind these wines.
So now I’m curious:
Would you rather the series stay mostly atmospheric like this first episode —
or would you enjoy more technical deep dives as well?
With light,
Lucie

You asked for the recipe… so here it is.
But more than a recipe, this is probably one of the best examples of French table culture I know.
Warm gougères, a bottle open somewhere in the background, people standing in the kitchen before dinner.
Simple food. Real life.

I’m often asked how to choose good produce.
Here’s how I choose strawberries.
Let me know what you think.

The video is live ✨
A crisp asparagus tart, built on contrast —
golden pastry, soft shallots, and fresh, vibrant greens.
Asparagus can be tricky, but when it’s balanced right… everything changes.
The full recipe is now on my channel —
I’d love to know what you think.
