Life hadn't been easy with me.
My whole world was destroyed when I was seven, when my dad died.
He was the only person I trusted, the one who could help me endure my mother's violence.

At his funeral, in the church, I felt a presence. Without knowing why, I associated it with Jesus. I still can't say with certainty whether it was my dad or Jesus.
But this presence was strong, like it was watching over me, looking after me.

I don't know why certain things happen. But one thing is certain: that day, I lost a father but gained a Heavenly Father. Because it was at that moment that I began to become aware of God.

Even though I was living through the pain of grieving my beloved father, my relationship with my Heavenly Father had begun.

A blessing can start where your world has stopped.
