I was so busy studying for my professional courses that I barely experienced the typical “college life.”

But life has a funny way of coming full circle. 🤍

Today, I find myself attending college events not as a student, but as a guest and panelist. And honestly, that feels incredibly special.

This time, I was invited by E-Cell SIES for a World Entrepreneurship Day discussion, where we spoke about the changing dynamics of AI, how students can identify opportunities through market research, and how they can turn an idea into something of their own whether it’s a digital creation, product, or service.

It was such a fun and insightful discussion with the other panelists, and I genuinely loved interacting with the students.

Sometimes, the moments you sacrifice today don’t disappear. They come back to you in ways you never imagined.

From missing college events to being invited to speak at them, I guess life really does come full circle. ✨

I’m turning 27 in less than 4 months.

And honestly, 20 feels like a lifetime ago.

When I turned 20, I became a Company Secretary. I was excited and had so many plans for my career.

And then COVID happened.

The life I had imagined suddenly changed. Limited opportunities, no interview calls, and so much uncertainty.

Eventually, I got a work-from-home job. I was excited to finally be a CS, but sitting at home with my laptop all day was not what I had imagined.

So, as a way to keep myself busy, I started creating content.

It started as something I did for timepass, but slowly, it became a journey of its own.

I always wanted to work in an MNC. After working hard for 2.5 years in corporates, I finally got the opportunity.

But again, reality was different from what I had imagined. The environment was toxic, and I had to leave.

I was left with content creation and my social media family.

Then I started talking to students and realised how many problems they were facing while preparing for their exams.

And that’s when I started Rankerswave .

Today, in less than 2 years, we’re almost touching 10,000 students.

My content creation journey has taken me to places I never dreamed of, helped me meet incredible people, and given me opportunities I never planned for.

I’ve built my own studio, bought my own car, given myself things I thought I’d only be able to afford after 30, and most importantly, given my parents experiences I always wanted to give them like first flights, trips and beautiful memories.

And when I look back, I realise something:

There was no “bad luck.”

The job rejections, disappointments, heartbreaks, failures and struggles that felt terrible at the time were actually redirecting me towards a life I couldn’t have imagined.

Sometimes, what feels like an ending is the beginning of something you couldn’t have imagined.

Sometimes, life has to disappoint you first because it is preparing you for something much better.

So if you’re going through a difficult phase right now, please trust yourself.

Maybe your life isn’t going wrong.
Maybe it’s just unfolding differently.

One day, you’ll look back at these struggles and realise they were taking you exactly where you needed to go.

And you might just say,
“Thank God that didn’t work out.” ❤️

Studying 10 hours a day doesn’t automatically mean you’re preparing well.

Because hours ≠ output.

You can sit with your books for 8 hours and still remember very little if your study is passive.

Instead, focus on:

→ Analysing your mistakes

The goal isn’t to study more.
The goal is to make every hour of studying actually count. 🧠

The moon is always whole.

It never actually becomes half, broken, or incomplete. It’s only the changing reflection of light that makes us believe it’s going through phases.

Maybe we’re not so different.

Most of us aren’t limited by our capabilities. We’re limited by the reflections created by our fears, beliefs, overthinking, and the stories we tell ourselves.

Someone wants to share their opinion but stays silent because they’re afraid of being judged. Later, they say, “No one ever hears me.”

Someone wants to start a business, create content, or prepare for a competitive exam, but overthinking stops them from taking the first step. Then they say, “I never get opportunities.”

Someone wants to stand up for themselves but fears losing people. So they stay quiet and eventually believe, “Maybe I’m just weak.”

But are these really your limitations?

Or are they simply reflections of fear?

Whether your dream is to secure an All India Rank, build a successful career, start something of your own, or simply live a happier life, the biggest battle is rarely with the outside world.

It’s with the reflections inside your mind.

The moment you stop believing every fear, every doubt, and every limiting thought, you begin to see yourself for who you really are.

Whole.
Capable.
Enough.

People standing on Earth see the moon as changing every night. But the moon doesn’t change, only our perspective does.

The same is true for you.

Don’t let your fears decide who you are.
Don’t let other people’s perception become your reality.

You don’t need to become enough.

I watch too many movies and TV shows. → Start reviewing and rating them.

Your biggest opportunity might be hiding inside what you call your “weakness.”

Think about it.

We spend so much time trying to “fix” ourselves that we forget one simple truth:

Many successful careers are built around habits that others once considered distractions.

The world rewards value. If something you naturally enjoy can educate, entertain, or help others, it can become an opportunity.

Of course, not every habit should be monetized, and not every weakness is a hidden talent. But before dismissing something about yourself, ask:

“Can I channel this into something meaningful?”

Sometimes, the difference between a weakness and a superpower is simply the direction in which you use it.

So here’s my question:

Will you spend your life complaining about your weaknesses, or will you learn to convert them into opportunities? Because opportunities lies everywhere.

The most expensive mistake I didn’t make in my 20s was waiting to feel “ready.”

People often ask me,

“How did you become a Company Secretary so young?”
“How did you start a business in your 20s?”
“How did you build a community of thousands of students?”

The truth is, my journey wasn’t different because I had more talent or more resources.

It was different because I stopped waiting for the “perfect time.”

I became a Company Secretary at 20.

I stepped away from the traditional career path to build something of my own.

I started creating content when I had no guarantee that anyone would watch.

I started speaking on stages before I felt like I belonged there.

I built a business before I knew everything about running one.

Was I ready for any of it?

Honestly, no.

And that’s exactly the point.

Looking back, I realize that if I had waited until I felt completely prepared, I would probably still be waiting.

One thing I’ve observed is that many people in their 20s—including many from my own community—are incredibly capable.

They work hard.
They have the qualifications.
They have the potential.

But they spend years waiting.

Waiting for more confidence.

Waiting for more experience.

Waiting for someone to tell them they’re ready.

Meanwhile, opportunities don’t wait.

The biggest difference between people who grow quickly and those who stay stuck often isn’t intelligence.

It’s the willingness to begin before certainty arrives.

Every meaningful chapter of my life started with discomfort.

I didn’t have all the answers when I started.

I learned by doing.

I made mistakes publicly.

I changed direction when needed.

And with every step, confidence followed.

If there’s one lesson my 20s have taught me, it’s this:

You don’t become ready and then take action. You take action, and that’s how you become ready.

So if you’re waiting for the perfect moment to start your business, apply for that opportunity, create content, or pursue a dream…
