Noopura School of Dance & Music was established in 2011, at Thiruvazhiyod village, Palakkad by Sadanam Arun Babu under the leadership of his father the renowned Kathakali Master Sri.Kalanilayam Balakrishnan.Our school offers training in classical art Forms like Kathakali, Ottanthullal, Bhrathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchuppudi. We also offer classes in musical art forms like classical music, kathakali music and folk music. We also have dedicated classes for musical instruments like tabala, drums, key board, guitar, veena ,violin and mridangam by experienced professionals. After gaining a rich experience of 9 years of dedicated trainings in its first two establishments,Noopura School is one of very few institutes of its kind to receive affiliation from Kerala Nataka Sangetha Academy.Noopura Events is an event division of Noopura school that organises shows of Kathakali, Ottanthullal, Classical Dance,Music Fusions, Megastage show, Panchavadyam and Thayambaka across Kerala.
