رسول الله ﷺ نے فرمایا:

*لَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا خَلِيلًا لَاتَّخَذْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ خَلِيلًا، وَلَكِنَّهُ أَخِي وَصَاحِبِي، وَقَدِ اتَّخَذَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ خَلِيلًا.*

اگر میں کسی شخص کو خلیل بناتا تو ابوبکر کو خلیل بناتا لیکن وہ میرے ( دینی ) بھائی اور ساتھی ہیں اور تمھارے ساتھی ( رسول اللہ ﷺ ) کو اللہ عزوجل نے اپنا خلیل بنایا ہے ۔

The first pillar of imaan (faith) in Islam is Belief in Allah. As Muslims, we believe in Allah in accordance with His beautiful names and attributes. Allah has revealed His names repeatedly in the Holy Quran primarily for us to understand who He is. Learning and memorizing the names of Allah will help us to identify the correct way to believe in Him. There is nothing more sacred and blessed than understanding the names of Allah and living by them. How do we expect to worship, love, fear and trust our Lord, The Almighty Allah, if we don’t know who He is?
اسلام میں ایمان (ایمان) کا پہلا ستون اللہ پر ایمان ہے۔ بحیثیت مسلمان، ہم اللہ پر اس کے خوبصورت ناموں اور صفات کے مطابق یقین رکھتے ہیں۔ اللہ نے قرآن پاک میں اپنے نام بار بار نازل کیے ہیں بنیادی طور پر ہم یہ سمجھنے کے لیے کہ وہ کون ہے۔ اللہ کے ناموں کو سیکھنے اور یاد کرنے سے ہمیں اس پر ایمان لانے کا صحیح طریقہ معلوم کرنے میں مدد ملے گی۔ اللہ کے ناموں کو سمجھنے اور ان کے مطابق زندگی گزارنے سے زیادہ مقدس اور بابرکت کوئی چیز نہیں ہے۔ ہم اپنے رب، قادر مطلق اللہ کی عبادت، محبت، خوف اور بھروسہ کیسے کریں گے، اگر ہم نہیں جانتے کہ وہ کون ہے؟
