If you enjoy the clips, Please Buy the DVD's!! I do not own copyright or rights to anything uploaded. This is purely a fan effort out of love to make as much of his work available to the masses as possible. I'm a collector, so if you're searching for something, I may just have it.

Had to delete the C5 doco due to a copyright strike, otherwise I would've kept it up, didn't want to risk the deletion of this channel, as until Benny's shows get put on somewhere like Netflix, there's nowhere (legally) to stream his stuff.

News on the C5 doco. They gave our boy Benny a fair go! Even Nina fucking Myskow once a major Benny detractor was giving Benny his due. Former detractor Debbie Arnold had nothing but nice things to say (apart from critisms about Hill's Angels, which is fair), and Eastenders actress Nina Wadia is a fan even comedienne Shaparak Khorsandi.

I would've liked to have seen more or Jenny Lee-Wright, but it was wonderful to see her, and no longer little Joanna Kirkland on the screen again.

Even the 3 Gen X'ers found some of his stuff funny. Of course, as usual, stuff like Chow-Mein and the blacking up was considered not ok, but they were fair to point it out that this was normal at the time and it wasn't just Benny doing this.

More updates on the Benny Hill doco coming in two weeks:

The good news, it overall sounds like it could be pretty balanced and they've managed to interview Jenny Lee-Wright who's been out of the spotlight for decades.

However one aspect worries me, they've shown Hill's sketches to three Generation Z viewers, "who simply can't believe what they're watching. ". And we know, even as a young person myself (Millenial, but almost bordering on Gen Z) most Gen Z'ers have no sense of humour.

Brace yourselves and let's hope it gives Benny a fair deal, it airs 13 April on Channel 5 and I'll update as soon as I've seen it, hopefully clips will be worth putting up here.

There's more from this rare 1958 edition to come. It's one of his Val Parnell Spectacular shows he did for Lew Grade's ATV, which apart from a 5 minute clip from 1967, NONE have seen the light of day since their original broadcast!

If anyone is interested, coming soon is a semi complete Benny Hill Show from 1965! it's his BBC Montreux Awards entry, I think it's still missing about ten minutes though, but I have 25 minute of it. Sadly it's a french dub and one of the sketches has only appeared in pieces in documentaries, so one sketch will have some of the audio dubbed in french. Four out the 5 sketches have already appeared on the BBC Lost Years DVD, and I thought of maybe using those to re-construct it, but I wish to keep it authentic as possible.

If anyone's wondering why my last upload has dissapeared, it's because it was copyright striked from the BBC for the clips taken from The Goodies and The Two Ronnies, I will try and re-compile and re-upload it in due course (probably with the image reversed).
