Hi I'm Conner,

I build AI chatbots for businesses using various building tools on the market.

My main area of focus is AI Assistants, Chatbots, and Conversational Design.

We're going to build chatbots, ai automations, and anything else that gains my interest.

Hope you enjoy, feel free to reach out on my website:

I write these words to you, 6am, sipping a cup of coffee. Reflecting on a whirlwind of a week...

I've decided to do something that hasn't been done in the 10 months of this Youtube channel's existence.

My last video is no longer available to view. I took it down yesterday.

This post is for those that have seen it, understand what's going on, and may be wondering "why?" After all, many of you commented and showed support after its release. Once again, thank you for all of the kind words. Your generosity and appreciation for my content continues to "fill up my cup" so to speak.

First Reason: There is a pricing mistake in the video. I compare 2 products unfairly based on incomplete information. I attempted to later rectify this with a post, but the views on that are only a fraction compared to the overall video views. This unfair comparison added to a particular narrative and was objectively false.

Second Reason: While I attempted to put on a detective hat and make some valid points, I missed something big time. The 2 organizations are not exactly separate entities. I received a barrage of emails and comments about jumping ship and signing up for the other platform. At the end of the day, that's just taking money out of someone's right pocket and putting it back into their left pocket. Not particularly useful and a potential waste of your chatbot building hours.

Third Reason: With the release of CBB's new pricing tiers, there is no longer a clear "go save tons of money by switching platforms" incentive for you as builders. This reduces the overall value proposition of the video.

Fourth Reason: It was clear that keeping the video up would be a constant source of distraction, drama, comment moderation, email answering, tribalism, and a host of other negative outcomes that combined with the points above, are just not worth it looking at the bigger picture.

Final Reason: I had every right to ask the main question in the video. But perhaps more importantly, should that question have been asked in public, in the form of a youtube video?

Based on my relationship with the leadership of CBB at the time, that answer is a clear and resounding "No".

I was wrong to do that. I wronged individuals that had been nothing but supportive to my efforts.

And I'm sorry.

I'm sorry to you, Youtube viewer, that has been dragged through my emotionally fueled content over this past week.

This forum carries a lot of weight and responsibility. I have to do better.

My relationship with CBB is currently healing.

I can only ask you as a viewer for a similar path as I know it will take time for me to repair trust. I'm committed to earning it back by being more straightforward with paid content and sponsorships in the future.

Happy Building Everyone,

Conner

Weekend update to the "Pay To Park" chatbot that I built last week.

Thursday - Sunday of this weekend, the chatbot collected $440 in revenue.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous and brought out plenty of people to the beach.

Sunny skies + chatbots = 💲💵💲

Happy building out there folks.
