An LPG bowser blast in Multan's Industrial Estate has injured 38 people and killed 6. According to Multan's Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Bukhari, the explosion occurred due to a fire in the tanker. Multan's City Police Officer reported that the explosion also caused the collapse of several houses in the area and resulted in the death of 20 cattle. The area has been sealed off, and gas and electricity supplies have been stopped for safety purposes. According to GEO TV, the police alleged that the large gas bowser was carrying smuggled LPG. The explosion also destroyed other bowsers present in the warehouse.

At Nishtar Hospital in Multan, where the injured are receiving treatment, an emergency has been declared.

Its popularity in downloads has challenged US primacy in AI and the effectiveness of Washington's attempts to control China's access to advanced chips. The fact that it was built cheaply with less powerful chips has experts questioning the effectiveness of export controls on China.

It is also said that the DeepSeek R1 model could challenge OpenAI's supremacy. It has surpassed the benchmarks of OpenAI's O1, which is the company's best available offering. Like ChatGPT, Meta's Llama, and Claude, it uses a large-language model. However, unlike them, it is open-source.
