Wicked Winters Films is a UK-based independent production company founded by filmmakers Jade Winters and Alex Hogben, dedicated to creating authentic, female-focused stories and bringing underrepresented voices to the screen.
We make romantic, character-driven films that put women and LGBTQ+ relationships at the heart of the story — from feature films and shorts to original YouTube releases.
Our mission is simple: tell great stories, create genuine representation, and bring our films to audiences wherever they want to watch them.
With films reaching audiences through YouTube, Amazon Prime, Tubi and numerous other streaming platforms, we’re building a growing independent film studio where bold, heartfelt stories can find their audience — in the UK and around the world.
Wicked Winters Films. Stories made with heart. Made for our audience.

🎬 TIME WAS IS BACK! ❤️
We’ve heard you!
A little while ago, we took Time Was down from our channel because YouTube Movies & TV licensed the film. However, at the moment, the full version has only been made available there in the UK and Germany.
We know many of you outside those countries have been trying to find the film, so we’ve decided to bring the version that was previously on our channel back! 🎉
The version here has the intimate scene edited out, but the rest of the film is available to watch as before.
In the UK or Germany? You can watch the full, unedited version through YouTube Movies & TV.
🌎 Elsewhere? You can now watch the edited version right here on our channel.
Thank you to everyone who messaged, commented and asked us to bring Time Was back. We listened! ❤️
Enjoy the film! 🎬

Thank you to everyone who’s watched, shared and supported this film — we’re so excited to have it available for even more people to discover. ❤️🎥

🎬 NEW PODCAST EPISODE IS LIVE! 🎬
We're pulling back the curtain today — 'We Nearly Ruined Our Shoot... Here's What Really Happened' 😅
This one covers it all: the panic that nearly derailed a London shoot, the fake blood consistency experiments for our vampire film Still Blood 🧛♀️, casting our lead for her incredible non-verbal performance, and the very real chaos of street filming One More Lie (people intentionally messing with our takes 😤).
If you've ever wondered what indie filmmaking actually looks like behind the polished final cut — this is it.
💬 Tell us: have you ever seen someone dramatically circle the rim of a glass in real life? We need to know if that's a thing people actually do 😂
